With a unique combination of more than 35 years of logistics, management and cus
tomer service experience, I feel satisfied and fulfilled with my work history.
My employers as well have been pleased with my work, my persistent efforts to im
prove efficiency and my good nature. But I am not done. I am seeking a positio
n where I can continue to utilize my experience for the benefit of my employer a

Professional Experience
Logistics Specialist 03-2007 - 12/07/2010
NAVSEA - Supervisor of Shipbuilding / NASSCO Spares Warehouse
My primary responsibility is to act as a second party, the government representa
tive, to my NASSCO counterpart when issuing a wide assortment of material (7,000
plus lines per ship) to the new TAKE class Navy ships. I assure that the NIIN
(National Item Identification Number), APL (Allowance Parts List), match the ite
m, nomenclature, quantity, and issued to the proper location onboard ship.
I build pallets of material, prepare them for transport and generate packing sli
ps. With my ECA Certificate, I have access to the Department of Navy databases
for MMS (Material Management Systems) and Merlin. This allows me to verify item
s in question, to do research and to problem solve.
I work with SPAWAR material (computer components), controlled substances, specia
l tools, ordnance handling equipment, medical items and HazMat material as well.
I was also instrumental in making improvements to warehouse and issuing proced
ures.

support, facilitated operations and traffic control, supervised staff and worke

Accounted for and managed the flow of over 500 floppy discs through four departm
ents in a 7/24 operation. I opened a maquiladora plant in Tijuana. I designed
the office space and production floor, ordered and received equipment, tracked i
nventory and validated product for shipment to the San Diego facility and superv
ised hiring and production.
