The Director 0f Student Activities is responsible to the Dean of Student Personn
el Services and is charged with the initiation, maintenance, and coordination of
all student activity programs except intramural sports and intercollegiate athl
etics.
Responsibilities include:
Consult regularly with the officers and advisors of student groups in order to
give them guidance and help in developing, operation, and evaluating their progr
ams and organizations
Act as advisor ex-officio to the Student Senate and coordinate the efforts of t
he Senate with the rules, programs, and policies of the College
Provide guidance in arranging cultural programs
Advise students in the preparation of budgets utilizing the student activity fe
e
Coordinate all graduation arrangements related to students
Develop an annual leadership development program for student organizations
Supervise and evaluate administrative staff
Assume administrative responsibility for the physical plant operation of the St
udent Center
Assist in the planning and implementation of the freshman orientation program
