Primary Radar plugin 1.

0 beta 1
===============================

Setup:
------
1) Load the plugin, open a new "Primary Radar screen" for it, set up and save th
e ASR. In the EuroScope display settings, set "Do not display aircraft below" to
a high value (for example 100000) to hide the tags, leader lines etc. . Use a b
lack background color.
2) Exit EuroScope, open the ASR file and add some lines to set up your radar:
(example lines from the Helsinki primary radar)
PLUGIN:Primary Radar plugin:RadarLat:N060.18.56.400
PLUGIN:Primary Radar plugin:RadarLon:E024.57.54.400
As you probably can guess, the lines define the antenna location. The coordinate
s must be in the sector file format.
Besides "RadarLat" and "RadarLon" there are a number of other settings that can
be defined in the ASR. They are listed below with their default values.

ColorR - Radar sweep color red component (0-255)

- 255
ColorG - Radar sweep color green component (0-255)
- 128
ColorB - Radar sweep color blue component (0-255)
- 0
RadarAltitude - Radar antenna elevation in feet
- 0
RadarCeiling - Maximum altitude where targets will be shown in feet
- unlimited
RadarRange - Maximum range where targets will be shown in nm
- unlimited
RadarTopAngle - Angle of the "cone of silence" above the antenna in degrees fr
om vertical - 0
RadarBeamAngle - Width of the target echo in degrees
- 3.0
RadarSSR - SSR information shown (0=false, 1=true)
- 0
RadarSSRfpl - Callsign shown in SSR data label for correlated flights (0=fal
se, 1=true) - 1
RadarSSRmodeC - Mode C level shown in SSR data label (0=false, 1=true)
- 1
RingsNumber - Number of range rings (1-100)
- 10
RingsSeparation - Distance between range rings (0.1-100.0)
- 5.0
Variation - Variation [east values positive] (-180.0-180.0)
- 0.0

The variation value is only used to rotate the compass rose. If you're using the
"Show magnetic north up" option in EuroScope, leave the variation here to zero.

Use:
----
There are some commandline commands that can be used to change some settings (th
ey won't be saved anywhere though)

.prp
Displays the available commands as a reminder

.prp echo [10-100] (default 100)

Sets the targets brightness level

.prp gain [5-100] (default 30)

Sets the rate at which the targets fade, i.e. the time that it takes for a new e
cho to completely fade away. The brightness decreases linearly with time for now
...

.prp rings [0-100] (default 50)

Sets the range rings brightness

.prp ringsnum [1-100]

Sets the number of range rings drawn

.prp ringssep [0.1-100.0]

Sets the range rings interval

.prp rose [0-100] (default 50)

Sets the compass rose brightness

.prp ssr
Toggles SSR targets and labels on/off

.prp ssr fpl

Toggles callsign information for correlated flights in the SSR label on/off

.prp ssr c
Toggles mode C level information in the SSR label on/off (note that there's no c
onversion to altitude, the displayed level is always the pressure altitude)

.prp var [-180.0-180.0]

Sets the variation value to rotate the compass rose on true north up displays (e
ast values positive)
