 is programme aims to provide advanced training in mat ematics wit an emp asis on coursework. It offers
opportunities to t ose w o ave an Honours degree or a Bac elor's degree in mat ematics to build and en ance t eir
professional skills and qualifications in advanced mat ematics in general and/or in some specialized areas of applied
mat ematics.


 
 

From AY2006/07, candidates may be admitted to one of two study tracks w ic are catered to candidates wit different
levels of qualifications. Students w o did not major in mat ematics at t e undergraduate level would normally be
considered for admission into t e 80MC track.


  


An applicant must ave:

÷ an Honours degree in mat ematics or an equivalent qualification, or

÷ an Honours degree in a discipline wit strong training in mat ematics at university level.

Foreign applicants are not allowed to study part-time in Singapore unless t ey ave a valid employment pass to work in
Singapore.

Interested applicants s ould sit for t e required tests early, bearing in mind t at t ere may be specific test dates and
t e test results may take a few mont s to reac t e university. Our institution/department code is 9087/72 for OEFL
and 0677/0703 for GRE.
