Leslie Puracan ICI Holds 9th I.T Camp The 9th I.

T camp was held last February 26-27, 2011 a two days event, which was participated by different High schools within the province, bearing the theme;____________________. The Activity started at 8:00 A.M, opened an Invocation, singing of the National anthem and Bohol hymn with the masters of ceremony Ms Rebeka Rio. All the participants were welcomed by Atty. Victoriano Tirol Jr.,Ph.D , who is the founder of the crystal-e college. Ms. Marigold Zaldivar, the chairperson and the coordinator of JITS Bohol, acknowledge the participating schools. These are the schools who participated; 1. Mabini high school 2. Mansasa National High School 3. Cangawa National high school 4. Holy Family Nazareth School 5. Holy Cross Academy 6. San Isidro High School 7. Hinlayagan National High School 8. San Miguel Technical Vocational High School 9. Inabanga high school 10. Calape High School 11. Sacred Heart Academy 12. University of Bohol-Loon 13. University of Bohol-Main 14. BISU main 15. DCPNHS 16. Lourdes High School 17. Mangga High School 18. Holy Infant Academy 19. Garcia Hernandez National High school 20. Bilar High School 21. Butuan High School It was followed by Mr. Marvin Elaba a freshman student, taking up ADCS Major in Multimedia and Internet, and also a member of the Informatics Animators Guild together with hes co-leagues they imparted their knowledge to the student as well as the coaches about I.T .Afterwards ms. Marigold Zaldivar read the contest Mechanics. During the contest proper, each student were given one and e half hour to accomplish the task and is allowed to use only Adobe

Photoshop. The contest started at 10:00 A.M all the participants were guided to their respective assigned areas. The elimination round began after the given time for the task. The judges selected the top ten finalists for the final round, Out of the chosen ten; four were given medals and scholarship certificates. The remaining four were chosen as the grand Champions. The judges were; Mr. Jimboy Valloso-Lecturer, Ms Leah Marie Niluag-Lecturer, Mrs. Lumayog T Lecturer/HISs/IDC coordinator and Ms. Jean Oculam-Lecturer/UNICODE adviser. The Elimination round for the digital, poster making ended at 12:00 P.M for the Lunch break and preparation for the next part of the activity which was held at Cristal-e-college. The afternoon contest are; PC Assembly-individual and Mixed fastest in keyboard typingIndividual, DOTA-Individual and Group, Film editing-by school and the I.T survivor. The second part of the Activity started 1:00 P.M. participants were guided to their respected rooms. The assigned teachers who will handle each contest areas gave the criteria and rules. By 6:00 P.M the Activity takes a break for supper and preparation for the last contest, the film-editing contest. The contest for the film-editing started immediately after the supper; there were five schools that were brave to bestow their works and talents in acting and specially in editing. One of the judges is Mr. Matheny Ramo. After presenting the works of the participants, the dance society gave their cool dance presentation. The high school participants also show their talents. Afterwards the culmination program followed. Winners in different contest and categories were being announced. Participating schools were given Plaques, Medals and scholarships. Students were over-joy and active. They cherish camp even though the event was held only for two days.
