TRANSFORMING THE CIRCUMSTANCES

n Psalm 105: 4, the Lord gives a special invitation to His people calling them to grow in their intimacy with Him. He said, Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always. The psalmist was aware that the only way to positively transform circumstances was through the power of God. In this psalm, David warns the people to not fall into compromise, but to make the effort to obtain the power of God in their lives. Jesus on the other hand, paved the way for us to receive the power of God when the Holy Spirit would come upon us. We must understand that people are surprised with all they are capable of doing for God when the power of God descends upon them, because their weaknesses are turned into strength in God. We can see this in Peters life, who hours before the crucifixion, turned into coward and denied Jesus on three occasions. But later, when the Holy Spirit came upon him, his heart was moved in an extraordinary way. In a single instant, his fear disappeared and he was able to address thousands of Jews who were gathered for the feast of DONT WASTE YOUR Pentecost. Here, he spoke to them with such authority that when he called people to repentance, three thousand were convicted of their LIFE FIND YOUR sins and decided to give their lives to Jesus. Not even the pressure from the religious leaders, or threats, or jail, or any other difficulty, PURPOSE IN LIFE could ever again deter him from his mission.

There are hundreds of testimonies of people who came to church during critical moments in their lives, in times when they really thought about their existence. They felt frustrated, like failures. But thanks to the transforming power of the Gospel, their lives were completely changed after going to an Encounter where they experienced God moving in their hearts. Now they are leaders who have the anointing and the power of God to bring many souls to the feet of Jesus. Heavenly Father, I recognize the need to renew my life through Your Word. Today, I am determined with my whole heart to believe all of the promises You have given me. Teach me how to meditate on Your Word, because Your word is what will renew my thought pattern and make me a victorious person. Holy Spirit teach me how to exercise the ability You have given me to think positively and make each day a day of personal, family, and ministerial blessings, growth and prosperity. I want to dream Your dreams. Oh Lord, just like the men and women of faith, they dared to trust You in spite of the circumstances. I also want to have that life changing experience that transforms me. I want to see Your miracles. Please work in me, I ask all this, in Jesus Name, Amen.
