Blue is a very calm and soothing color. It signifies peace and happiness People all over have admired the color blue from times immemorial. Blue has remained the symbol of fidelity till our times. Blue flowers-such as forget-me-nots and violets symbolize faithfulness. Nature is blue. The sky is light blue. The sky means looking ahead in life, always upright. We look in the sky for our dreams and the color makes us smile with hope. The deep sea and the oceans are also blue. The environment and the aura, the blue color gives to humans is purely a gift of Nature and God to man. A natural color, blue is a universal color. The cool, calming effect of blue makes time pass more quickly and it can help you sleep. However, too much blue could dampen spirits. Blue is the color of sky and water. Interior designing and decorating can be broken down into many areas, among which, color is one of the most essential. For them, the color blue denotes openness, tranquilizer, conceptual, responsible, authoritative, conservative, sense of well being, pragmatic, dogmatic, refreshing, loyalty and peace bringing. Hence, it is being very widely used my interior designers today, all over the world. Blue gives a feeling of distance. Artists use it to show perspective. This is a good way to understand the energy of the color blue - it allows us to look beyond and increase our perspective outward. It contains a cool vibration that is helpful to communication. The vibration if blue can be used to open energy flow where it is blocked. Using blue to relax will encourage feelings of communication and peace.
