QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: Post: Educational Qualifications: Junior Assistant (Vidyut Sahayak) (for e-Urja work) Must Have Good to Have Nice to Have BCA, B.Sc (Computer Science), B.Com + PGDCA (Computer Science) ICA (Industrial Computer Account) Knowledge of Electricity Domain Oracle Apps Exposure

Experience:

1. Must be aware of basics of Computer 2. Candidate must be able to understand the flow of at least one Business Process of ERP 3. Candidate can work independently 4. Working experience with ERP System.

Graduate with (BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science) OR B.Com + PGDCA (Computer Science) (Full time Course) with 55% and more marks for General Category and 50% and more marks for ST / SEBC Category in final year exam and have cleared in first attempt only. 2. AGE LIMIT (As on the date of publication of an advertisement): 25 years for General category and 30 years for ST / SEBC category. 3. REMUNERATION : Fixed remuneration for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year would be Rs.5500/-, Rs.6000/- and 6500/respectively per month. No other allowance or benefits would be admissible except coverage under Personal Accident Policy, Reimbursement of TA/DA as per rules etc as per GSO. 332, Dtd. 03/02/2003. 4. GENERAL :
a) The management reserves the right to short list, select or rejects any candidates for written test / Oral / Interview as the case may be for selection. b) The management reserves right to cancel Select list / Waiting list at any time at its sole discretion, without assigning any reasons thereof. c) The selected Junior Assistant (Vidyut Sahayak) (IT) shall be appointed initially for the period of three years and shall be considered for appointment to the post of Junior Assistant on regular establishment, in the pay scale of Rs.9, 700/- - 21, 710/- subject to completion of above period by the selected candidate satisfactory in UGVCL. d) The application is liable to be rejected, if it is not in conformity with given Performa, incomplete, illegible, and unsigned or without requisite certificates, received after closing date, or Application without Demand Draft will be rejected without assigning any reasons thereof and in all such events the fees received by DD will not be refunded. Those who are applying under UR Category, they have to send Demand Draft of Rs. 200/-. Demand Draft amount is non-refundable, towards application form fee, processing and scrutiny fee. Copy of School Leaving Certificate is must for Birth / Age verification. e) SEBC candidates shall have to submit latest Creamy layer certificate in Gujarati -PARISHIST-K for the year 2011 for getting job in State Government. f) Reservation in seat quota and age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen, female candidates and for Physical Handicapped candidates will be maintained as per prevailing rules of Govt. Gujarat. g) Physically handicapped candidates shall have to submit fresh certificate of Civil Surgeon indicating existing percentage of disability. h) UGVCL will not be responsible for any postal loss / delay of receipt of application. i) Canvassing in any form shall debar the candidate from selection. j) Caste (Roster category) certificate of Gujarat State only will be considered. k) Selected Candidate shall have to work anywhere under the jurisdiction of UGVCL and the candidate selected for the post, shall not be transferred from UGVCL to any other subsidiary Company of GUVNL. l) Candidate, who is applying against any quota as narrated above, may write the same in application form in respective column. m) Mere submission of application does not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for being considered for the further selection process. n) Candidates should have sound health. Candidates with myopia and hypermetropia exceeding +/4.00D need not apply. Squint and color blindness (partial or full) is disqualification for the post. o) Applicant has to apply in A4 size paper only. p) No any traveling fare will be paid to any candidates for attending the written test. q) Those who are working in UGVCL as J.A (VS) should not apply for this post. r) Those employed in Govt. Department / PSU should apply through proper channel OR submit No Objection Certificate along with application. s) Written test will be conducted in English language only.
