BIOMETRICS - SIMILARITIES TO BIBLICAL PROPHECY

There are many differing views on biblical prophecy, but when an event occurs that is so strikingly similar to biblical prophecy, its similarities must be considered. To many Christians, biometric identification, (ex. facial recognition, fingerprint imaging, handvein recognition, etc.) could be accurately described as an enrollment process for the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18). Biometric ID, at the minimum, represents an end to freedom, a tool of persecution, and the creation of a surveillance society. What are the similarities between biometrics and biblical prophecy? And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead, and he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six. Rev 13:16-18 (NAS) .."If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God.. Rev 14:9b-10a (NAS) BIOMETRIC ID IS INTERNATIONAL ID, APPLYING TO ALL (Rev 13:16) Total global biometric enrollment is the goal, and almost all three elements for that goal, are in place: Enrollment (driver licenses, passports, etc., linked to financial data, i.e., Soc. Sec. No.) International standards to facilitate global sharing of personal-biometric-financial data Globally linked government/corporate databases (surveillance, control and data sharing) ENROLLMENT From the remotest part of the world to the largest city, people are being enrolled into a biometric ID system, through national ID, workers ID, school ID, driver licenses, passports, etc. This enrollment is happening at an alarming rate. Almost all states and nations use biometrics. The biometric industry has grown from a few million dollars to BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in less than 10 years. The World Bank is using biometrics to supply financial services to underdeveloped countries and India has committed to identify its 1.2 BILLION residents using biometrics, as is China, Europe and most of Asia. INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS States and nations using biometrics, have adopted international standards, so personal-biometric data can be accessed, searched and shared globally. These standards make global identification, control and information sharing possible. In 1995, an agency of the UN, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), began work on a biometric passport system, EPassport. The U.S. and all 27 Visa-Waiver nations now use E-Passport. In 2005, the REAL ID ACT imposed an international system of biometric standards, document design, and a linked database system of state driver licenses. The standards and network were controlled by two international organizations, the ICAO and AAMVA (American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators). Public outrage over REAL ID has prevented its implementation, but the very similar PASS-ID is expected to replace REAL ID. GLOBAL DATA SHARING Global data sharing is the final piece of the puzzle to create a total global system of biometric ID and financial control. The creation of such a system is the goal of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), according to spokesman Robert Mocny who stated: information sharing is appropriate around the world and DHS plans to create a Global Security Envelope of internationally shared biometric data that would permanently link individuals with biometric ID, personal information held by governments and corporations.

BIOMETRIC ID LINKS THE BODY TO FINANCIAL CONTROL (Rev 13:16-17) In the U.S., the Social Security number (SSN) unlocks ones financial life, so the SSN is collected for biometric ID documents (driver licenses/passports, etc.) Under the heading of security or immigration, Congress is considering biometric ID to be required for banking, workers ID and Social Security cards. Our financial base is transitioning from ID documents, to the body, demonstrated by the increasing use of biometrics for hand-vein biometric banking and fingerprint credit transactions. BIOMETRIC ID IS MOST COMMONLY USED WITH THE HAND OR HEAD (Rev 13:16, 14:9) Based on the hand or the head, the most common forms of biometric ID are facial recognition, iris recognition, hand geometry, fingerprint imaging and hand-vein recognition. BIOMETRIC ID IS TIED TO RFID DEVICES (Rev 13:16) RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) devices accurately fit the description of a mark. Commonly used for product ID, animal ID and turnpike passes, RFID devices transmit stored data when scanned. Biometric ID, such as the UN-ICAOs E-Passport, many state driver licenses, military ID, Smart Cards, use RFID to store personal-biometric-financial data directly on the ID document, to increase ease of use. Without speculating too much, it is easy to see how proposed global information sharing and the global debt crisis, could create an ID theft pandemic or other economic disaster, making conventional ID documents untrustworthy. After such an event, the use of RFID devices (already storing personalbiometric-financial data) could easily be transferred from the ID document directly to the body. Thin RFID stickers are used for product ID and car tags, and rice-size RFID chips are often used for animal ID. However, the best fit for a mark-device is the Somark RFID tattoo. This device goes on the skin (not under) and, with increasingly popularity and acceptance, is already used on humans and animals. BIOMETRIC ID IS A NUMBER OF MAN (Rev 13:18) We see how RFID can be used to store personal-biometric-financial data on the body, but exactly what is the biometric data that could be stored. Biometric ID is literally bio-metric, the body being measured. For example, facial recognition uses a digital photo to map the face, creating a unique biometric ID number, a numeric representation of ones body. The biometric ID number is tied to personal-financial data to create a unique biometric identity. Literally, the biometric ID number is that of a man. A SYSTEM TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS (Rev 14:9-10) These similarities cannot be attributed to coincidence. The Bible is proven to be extremely dependable, accurately forewarning us of such a system. Biometrics will soon place the worlds ability to buy and sell, firmly in the control of international entities, over which we have no influence. Biometrics and RFID devices can also be used to identify and track people in public, so no system on earth could be more repulsive to freedom and Christianity. Because of its similarities to a mark-like system, Christians must stand on their First Amendment rights of religious freedom to extricate themselves from biometric ID, albeit, with great difficulty and risk. It may be that the nation that imposed biometrics on the world (the U.S.) could be the only place on earth, where a religious exemption from biometric ID is possible. SOLUTIONS Any federal biometric ID imposed directly on the people, must provoke the people to civil disobedience, but biometric driver license data can still be wiped and low-resolution photos (not compatible with facial recognition) used. To protect our freedom, we must resist (Ephesians. 6:13 & 1 Peter 5:9) and as Thomas Jefferson said, Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.
