Cementitious seamless, self smoothing hardwearing flooring system

Description
FAIR TOP FAST FLOOR is a one part cementitious, self smoothing and self leveling polymer modified flooring system. Its topping and leveling properties are useful for the ware house and industrial floors where repairing or new floor is to be done on immediate basis with high strength and durability. Self smoothing and leveling nature saves labor cost. FAIRTOP FAST FLOOR can be exposed to any weather or traffic with any type of finishes.

Features
< Bonding: Polymer modified formula develops high compressive strength as well as good abrasion resistance on properly prepared sub-flooring with high adhesion with the substrate. Ease of Application: Requires no special skills, tools or additives. FAIRTOP FAST FLOOR is simply mixed with water using a drill or other mechanical mixer, poured, spread and left to harden. May be installed in any thickness in one lift. Compatibility: May be used over concrete, wood, steel or polystyrene foam. Readily accepts many types of coatings, adhesives and mastics typically used in setting tile and installing carpeting or other types of flooring. Non-Dusting and Water Resistant: Does not tend to "dust" through carpeting or crumble upon contact with moisture. High Strength: Cement-based composition builds strength up to 410 kg/cm, matching high quality concrete. Safety: Contains no toxic resins, solvents or diluents. Odorless, non-flammable, noncorrosive.

An innovative industrial flooring system
Concrete contractors should by now be well aware of the recent spike in popularity of decorative flooring in a variety of applications. Concrete remains one of the most durable, functional, reliable building materials available, but there's no getting around the fact that when you mix Portland cement, sand and water, the initial result is not particularly attractive. Through the use of integral colors, dry-shake color hardeners and similar products, fresh concrete need no longer be grey, monotone and drab looking. In situations where a concrete slab has cracked, spalled or aged, cementitious overlayments can provide a solution, when compared to the time-consuming and costly alternative of ripping out the hard slab and pouring new concrete. Application Guideline
Surface Preparation : The preparation of the concrete is of vital importance for the effective use of this product. Concrete must be firm, hard and free from old coatings, concrete laitance and any contaminants which may impair adhesion. The concrete must have a profiled textured surface, which can be achieved by captive shot blasting, grinding or milling. For areas, which are contaminated by oil and grease, HCA (Hot compressed air) treatment may be required. All dust and debris must be vacuumed away to leave a clean and dust free surface. Priming : Priming is required and undertaken with FAIRCRETE SB(L) - an acrylic primer. Apply two coats of primer by roller, brush or spray. Apply the primer to the prepared surface and allow drying. (Normally over night). For the second coat, dilute one part FAIRCRETE SB(L) to three parts water and apply to the previous coat. Allow to become touch dry before application of FAIRTOP FAST FLOOR. Temperature -- of the air, of the mix and of the water -- is yet another important criterion in a successful overlay floor installation. "Keep in mind, this is a concrete product, and it's best to work when conditions are cool, if the ambient temperature is too warm, or the mix was stored outside in the sun, that will affect the set time. An air conditioning system or heating system should be shut off, if at all possible, before you begin pouring product. The water you add should be chilled or cool. We recommend putting several bags of ice in the water barrel and coiling the hose in the chilled water if the conditions are warm.That will help prevent the floor from setting up too fast." Mixing : FAIRTOP FAST FLOOR is mixed applied by specialist mixer /pump. Measure 3.24 litres cool, potable water, into a suitable sized mixing vessel and mix full bag of FAIRTOP FAST FLOOR. Mix the composition for 3 to 5 mins. until a homogenous mix is observed. Mixing shall be carried out with a slow speed drill (400-500 RPM) fitted to a paddle attachment. Application : Pour the material, immediately after completion of mixing, on the dry, primed surface, spread with a trowel and allow to self level. The required thickness must be achieved in one application. For best results, the pouring and levelling should be a continuous process. If complete flooring is to be done, material pouring shall be started from dead end.(from the farthest end of entry / exit location) Note : If the mix stiffens, it should be discarded. Do not attempt to re-mix with water. Cleaning : Tools and equipment should be cleaned immediately by flushing with water. Cured material can only be removed by mechanical means. Curing : In normal conditions, FAIRTOP FAST FLOOR does not require curing, but in harsh climatic conditions of direct sunlight, drying winds etc., freshly hardened surfaces should be covered completely with a polythene sheet for 2 days.

Finishing and Maintenance

A wide range of patterns, designs, artwork and even company logos can be cut into overlay surface. "You can achieve designs in concrete that you can't get with other materials, With selfleveling overpayments you can do just about anything your imagination allows. FAIRTOP FAST FLOOR available in various colours, allows the designer, architect or contractor to match any color whether it is a paint chip or other colors already in use. "These floors can last forever, but only if they get the maintenance they require. In most locations, they should be cleaned and waxed a minimum of once every five days."

FAIRSCREED SL : Three pack, high performance, hard wearing, excellent adhesion, hygienic epoxy based self leveling screed. Can be made more attractive by sprinkling flakes which will ensure scratch resistance. Application thickness is around 2 mm. Requires primer (SAFECORE-WB primer is recommended). Coverage: 3.5 m@ 2 mm thickness per pack of 12.5 kg. FAIRTOP / FAIRTOP STD : Ready to use, single pack, hard wearing, abrasion resistant, non-metallic, monolithic, iron free, smooth finish, anti-skid industrial flooring compound for medium to heavy duty traffic floors. Resists penetration of oil and water. Consumption - 5 Kg/m, Mho's scale hardness 8 to 9. FAIRTOP METALLIC : A screedable, iron aggregate cementitious system which is designed to provide a thin, high strength topping or for repairing surfaces subjected to heavy traffic and abrasion. It is formulated for application at a thickness of 8 to 10mm. 25kg bag of FAIRTOP METALLIC covers 0.95m2 at a thickness of 8mm and 0.75m2 at a thickness of 10mm for screed. FAIRTOP HD : Ready to use single pack, hard wearing, abrasion and impact resistant, nonmetallic, monolithic, smooth finish, anti-skid floor hardener for heavy duty industrial floors. A 12 mm thick topping on the green concrete provides an extra ordinary heavy duty traffic floor. Coverage : 1- 1.2 m@12 mm thickness per pack of 25 kg.
