Pillow Talk

Where real girls have real discussions about real life.

Vision Develop sisterhood and restore the integrity of womanhood in the lives of teenage girls. Mission The mission of Pillow talk is to create an atmosphere that is conducive for beneficial dialogue between young girls as we discuss prevalent issues, find practical solutions to life problems, develop genuine accountability, form bonds based on honesty and transparency, and create moments that will sustain their transition into womanhood. Pillow Talk is a teenage girl discussion session that is greatly dedicated to the practical need of healthy conversations that no longer happen in our society or broken nuclear families. Miss Charity White is a singer and public speaker/spoken word artist in Orange County California who is privileged to be an intergenerational leader and advocate for the least, the last and the lonely of her community. Pillow Talk was created as a safe space for teenage girls to develop an accurate sense of self, learn to refrain from sexual promiscuity and teen pregnancy, refrain from substance or drug abuse, learn etiquette, set practical goals, and gain the ability to love and trust sisters in their lives for the benefit of reaching their personal best. Pillow Talk is a mobile session that is perfect for, and not limited to schools, organizations, slumber parties, small groups, and churches. The setting is informal, confidential, fun, high energy, but challenging and guarantees to produce an environment that will re shape the lives of the future generation of girls who need our present priceless investments. Pillow Talk Objectives: Provide a realistic and confidential environment that will promote freedom of speech that can be found in every teenage girls dream slumber party.

Testimonies & Well Wishes

Charity White is a gentle soul with a heart for young women. She has both the tenacity and passion to create a platform for others to share their personal lives and stories. In one word, I would say that Ms. White is "epic". She meets the needs of people, and asks for nothing in return. This woman's ability to endure and soar above life's demands is commendable and inspiring. Charity White is undoubtly a virtuous woman! - Aisha Duncan, poet and CEO of Speak Child When Miss Charity came to speak at UCC, she absolutely blew my mind away. The way she interacted with our youth group was unique and captured my attention along with the other youth immediately. Besides the amazing sermon she gave, the poetry she recited and the songs she sang, not only were entertaining, but were powerful and had an uplifting message. She was honestly one of the greatest speakers that has preached to our youth group. I had so much fun listening to her and can't wait for her to come again - - -Bradlee Johnson, 14 years old High school student When Charity was a speaker at my church, I felt connected. Shes the kind of speaker that don't put everyone to sleep and that makes sure everyone is connected by asking them questions or involving us some how. I felt like I could apply her lesson that day to my life and that was amazing. I thank her again. p.s. i love the spoken words. - Ozi Lynda Ajuonu, High school student Charity this is Sydney! When you spoke at GirlTalk 101 it really touched me, I loved your poem, & you spoke to us about having are own lil parties with just ourselves, that really made me feel better about myself ,and not to think I look ugly at times. Your lesson really took the depression off of me. THANK YOU SOOO BERRY MUCH :))! -Sydney, Junior High school student Hi Charity this is jessica and the last time you spoke at GirlTalk 101 you really inspired me with your poem and how you were saying that we should encourage ourselves and not to compare ourselves to like famous women like Beyonce and others, and how you said that we should look at ourselves in a unique way because we are beautiful in our own special way and we have our own kind of beauty. So I really want to thank you because you really helped me look at myself in a different way. -Jessica, High school student When you were speaking at this years girls discussion I really enjoyed it, when you were talking about abusive relationships and how we should love ourselves and encourage ourselves and never let anyone have their way on you and never let any one pure pressure you and to always be yourself. Thank You Soo Much!!!!!!!!!!! -Ryan, High school student

When you spoke, it really influenced me. When you looked in my direction, it really touched me. I learned that we should love ourselves for who we are and not try to be like the girls on TV or in the magazines. Also I learned that we should separate a time from our busy lives to appreciate ourselves even if we have to have our own party in the bathroom. Lol. You taught me to not look at myself as ugly, but as beautiful, especially inside. Thank you for the lesson! I hope you can come by again! -Kristen, High school student "Since knowing Charity for some time now, it is still exciting to see her enthusiasm and passion in all the new projects and works that she does. Her welcoming personality is one that people of all ages are attracted to. A person you want on your team, and leading your team! It's a pleasure to say I know Charity." -Michael Ferrera, Custom Clothing Designer and Event/Dialogue Host I see Pillow Talk taking off. It sounds like a great concept! I know this will be really big! I can see women really of all ages getting in to this.
