At the outset, the Chairman welcomed the members and experts of Registration Committee and requested APPA(CIB&RC) to take up the agenda, item-wise for discussions and the following decisions were taken by the RC:-

The committee decided that an open house Session may be convened with the Bio-pesticides/ Botanical Pesticide manufacturers Association in the month of April/May, 2011 to discuss the various issues relating to Registration of Bio-pesticides/ Botanical pesticides. The committee further decided that, henceforth, Registration Committee meeting will be convened on last Thursday of every month. In case, last Thursday is holiday, the meeting will be held on the next working day. The committee noted that the Secretariat may bring for discussion the bioefficacy protocols, submitted by Crop Life (India) for evaluation of pesticides.
