Only those problems will be considered which has 80% contribution. Other standard problems are neglected since they have almost negligible contribution in the problem and will make not much difference in the functioning of the machine. So in the case of SAC the major problems that are faced are no cooling, water dripping, not working, remote not working, noise problem, compressor problem.

We only consider the latest models like ACE FMS, ACE CO, STAR, INVERTER, and KAZE. This is because production of these models is going on the assembly line and actions can be taken immediately at the line itself which can definitely help in reducing the chances of further occurrence of any kind of problem.

Now I have further gone into the technical details of the breakdown calls and find out that what the reasons behind the malfunctioning of the machine are. All this data which I am using to present my report is taken from SMS (Service Management System). After the breakdown call is registered in HCS (Hitachi Customer Service) department, the technician attends the customer and gives his feedback. And by going through his feedback I have made different categories. Before checking those categories I would like to present the different causes of any particular standard problem.

The data analyzed from the feedback of the technician is divided under following categories. Here we take only NO COOLING or LOW COOLING problem since covers our 80% of the area. Some breakdown calls are not defined, hence they are not considered in this following report:

On the basis of these categories I have made the prioritization chart which clearly divides high and low priority problem and control over it. This helps the company in deciding the direction to approach to take measures against the problem.

CONCLUSION
In the practical training for a period of 30 days, I have learned a lot about the present scenario in the field of production. I have gained knowledge about the technologies and strategies used by the company to make it a success. At our college I have learnt most of the things theoretically, which does not provide sufficient information about the subjects and students remain unaware of the problems and errors when they go to the field. This practical training has provided me the knowledge about various technologies in the production field. I am highly grateful to the HITACHI family for the support and guidance given to me for the successful completion of my practical training.
