Manager Airport Safety Reporti ng to the General Manager Ai rport Operations, the primary objecti ve of the Manager Airport Safety is to provide leadershi p to coordinate and support al l li ne and staff areas i n mai ntai ni ng a safe worki ng environment and safe practices across the Airport. In a hi gh performance environment and taking into consideration high level regul atory i mpl icati ons, you will achieve success by consultation wi th stakeholders, i ntel ligent input into the companys big picture, and tenaciously dri ving performance deli very. You and your team are key to del iveri ng a safe and heal thy work environment, compli ance with OH&S regulati ons and implementati on of airfield standards. You wil l be pivotal in bui lding and supporti ng an enterpri se risk management system, and in management of ai rside drivi ng regulations and safety systems. As you wi ll be i n constant contact wi th seni or executives and external representati ves, you will displ ay pol ished presentation and communicati on abil iti es. You wi ll have extensive experi ence in the aviation industry, and a thorough working knowledge of the applicati on of regulatory standards, safety systems and risk pri nciples. Proven leadership skil ls are an essential requi rement of the role as is a strong deci si on making capabili ty. If you are the type of person who is dri ven towards improvement and effici ency, as a motivated sel f starter with excellent anal ytical and organi sati onal skil ls, you will be successful i n your new role. Degree qual ifi ed i n health and safety management or aviati on safety management, you are self-confident and commercially minded.
