Professional Path & Current Position Cristina Rodrigues graduated in Microbiology and Genetics from Faculdade de Cincias, Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal) in 2003. That same year she started her PhD in Cellular Biology from Faculdade de Cincias, Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal). She is performing her PhD in Maria Motas lab, initially at Instituto Gulbenkian de Cincia in Oeiras and since 2005 at Instituto de Medicina Molecular in Lisboa. Her PhD work is funded by Fundao para a Cincia e Tecnologia and is entitled: Identification of host factors required for Plasmodium berghei ANKA development during the liver stages of infection. Percurso Profissional e Posio Profissional Actual Cristina Rodrigues licenciou-se em Biologia Microbiana e Gentica pela Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal) em 2003 e, neste mesmo ano, iniciou o doutoramento em Biologia Celular na mesma instituio. Encontra-se a desenvolver trabalho de investigao no laboratrio da Dra. Maria Mota, inicialmente no Instituto Gulbenkian de Cincia em Oeiras e, desde 2005, na Unidade de Malria no Instituto de Medicina Molecular em Lisboa.
