NHPS ADDS LOCATION TO FREE SUMMER MEAL SITES


The New Haven Public Schools free summer meal program has added another site, Casa Otonal at 148 Sylvan Avenue. In conjunction with the School Lunch Act and per regulation 225.21, the New Haven Board of Education School District will provide free breakfast and lunch to children at the sites. Under the program, nutritious meals are provided to all children 18 years and under free of charge at the sites listed below. The Summer Lunch and Breakfast Programs will run Monday through Friday beginning July 5, 2011 through August 5, 2011. Meal times for each site are noted below. All sites will be closed on the 4TH of July. For further information contact: Food Services Division at 203946-8813, ext. 10.
