A MODEL FOR SELF AS INSTRUMENT

INCREASING ALIGNMENT FOR GLOBAL TRANSFORMATION

(MODEL 2009 BY A. BROCK, A. CHESTNUTT, R. MCENULTY, A. ODONNELL, J. SMITH)

WHAT AM I SAYING?
What stories do I tell about myself? What is my espoused theory? What do I intentionally share with people about who I am, what I want, and what I care about?

WHAT DO I WANT TO BE?

What ambitions do I hold? What hopes and dreams do I have? What do I wish for the world?

WHAT AM I DOING?
What does my work look like in the world? What is my theory in use? What do my actions and behaviors speak to?

HOW AM I (NOT) MYSELF?

Where am I in alignment between the components (Say/Be/Do)? Where could I increase my alignment? What will I do to embrace my hypocritical self and still work towards alignment?

WHAT WILL I COMMIT TO? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR ME? FOR OTHERS?
