Cleaning Tips
If you hate cleaning, you are not alone. It is much more fun to be out and about, playing with friends or just enjoying some relaxation time. While cleaning is a "necessary evil" for many people, there are things you can do to make your cleaning time shorter and more productive. Range Hood Fan: During routine cleaning, there is one part of the range hood that is often forgottenthe fan inside the hood. While it may not be necessary to clean very often, if the fan is not cleaned periodically then you are not getting the fan's full effect. Stove grease: It is easier to remove the grease while in the liquid stage rather than waiting until it congeals. There are various degreasing products on the market, look around to get the best deals. Microwave: It is best to clean the microwave using natural methods instead of cleaners that can leave a smell and taint the taste of your food. Using steam, you can loosen tough spots in your microwave and then wipe the interior clean with a damp cloth. Microwaves absorb the smells of the foods cooked in them. To stop these odors and leave a temporary sweet smell, cook a lemon in water for three minutes in your microwave. This mixture will cleanse your microwave of any offensive odors and leave it with a temporary lemon scent. Please remember to pick up after your dogs. Due to the heat the smell can get pretty strong. You might be offending your neighbors.
