Duties Developed a mailing script website targeted for internal office use, but is now being marketed for commercial use. Wrote documentation for and assisted with the office-wide Microsoft Office 365 upgrade. Set up virtual machine environments for office developers, and re-wrote documentation on how to do so. Assisted with labeling wireframes for offshore programmers. Began learning how to develop Android Applications. Assisted with the re-design of the Amovius website. Developed a series of PHP scripts that allows the Oceanographic Anaylsts to efficiently use government ocean buoy data. The scripts pull data directly from the government website, manipulates the data according to Oceanographic Analyst standards, and displays it in Excel. Complete marketing research, make phone calls regarding fishing tournaments, take forecast phone call orders from clients, assist fellow employees with computer issues, insert forecast orders into system database, send forecast orders out to clients, and secure the building upon leaving for the night. Maintain the orderliness of the Student Union Building, assist anyone who may need help locating rooms on campus, assist the Student Life Office with campus events, and direct incoming telephone calls appropriately. Call Florida Institute of Technology alumni for contributions to our university.
