Listening and Speaking


Lee Hark Myoeng, Ko Yun hee (Class C)

Introduction
In this activity, students will practice their listening and speaking skills through listening
short new reports and video clip, group discussion, presentation and so on. Besides,
throughout the class, students will participate in the class by doing interesting activities
such as making posters and mind-mapping and think about important matters related to
world weather, global warming or protecting the environment. While involved in these
matters, students will be able to speak and listen to others naturally.

Objectives : Students will be able to


1. get the gist from short news reports
1. find specific information from video clip
2. talk about causes and effects of global warming
3. discuss the ways to prevent global warming

Time Required

45 minutes (specific time allotment is presented below)
