Dear Student, We are pleased to announce the details of the Progressive Evaluation Test and Part Tests I to VI scheduled for your Course. Please keep this circular till all the Tests are completed and note the details carefully. We will not send reminders to students before each Test.

For Students outside India:

The Test comprises of two papers, Paper I and Paper II, each of three hours duration. Because of the various time zones our students outside India are in, the papers will be accessible to you online from 5.00 pm IST on the date of the Test (Sunday) to 9.30 pm IST the next evening (Monday).

All students outside India can log on and appear for the Tests during this 28 hour window. Your papers must be submitted before 9.30 P.M. IST on Monday; therefore you should begin the second paper by 6.30 P.M. IST on Monday at the latest. Each student will be able to log on and take each Test only once.

2. CENTRES: See attached list for details.

Please note the dates and timings for your Centre carefully. You must be seated 15 minutes before the start of each Test. No one will be allowed in after the Test has started.

3. RESPONSE LETTERS
For online mode students: You need not respond. Please take the Test using the login details that were provided to you earlier. For students who have enrolled recently, the login details will be e-mailed to you before the first Test. For students taking the Sit-down Tests: Please respond online through our Website: http://www.brilliant-tutorials.com/iit/onlineconfirmreq.jsp or by sending the enclosed Response Letters, whether you will attend or will not attend the Test. After you have responded you will not receive any communication from us about the Tests unless there is a change in Test dates or Test Centre. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any Test to students who fail to submit their Response Letters or confirm online. You are therefore advised, in your own interest, to positively fill up and return the Response Letters, or confirm online well within the specified time period.

4. ADMISSION TO THE TEST

You will be admitted to the Test only on production of your Admit Card with your photograph, issued by our office at the time of your enrolment. Students not producing the ADMIT CARD, will not therefore be permitted to enter the Hall or take the Test.

5. DIRECTIONS FOR ANSWERING THE TESTS

(i) Details of the pattern of the Examination are attached. No extra sheet will be provided for the Tests. All rough work should be done in the blank spaces provided in the question paper only. (ii) The use of Calculators and Logarithmic tables IS NOT allowed for the Tests. Cellphones, pagers, iPods or other electronic devices will not be allowed inside the Examination Hall. 6. RESULTS
Answer papers of all Tests will be valued and marks and percentile scores along with the solutions will be sent ONLY by e-mail. Any student, who has not yet done so, should immediately send us their e-mail id. The results will also be posted on our website: www.brilliant-tutorials.com.

7. SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS/STUDENTS

Please observe the following for smooth conduct of the Test: 1. Parents and guardians should come only to drop off their wards and are requested not to spend the entire day at the Centre. Also please do not pressurize the Centre authorities for change in the timings and avoid demanding to be given the Question papers in the absence of the students they will not be given to you. 2. Students should strictly desist from writing on the walls, scribbling or otherwise causing any damage whatsoever to the desks, furniture, bathroom fixtures, lifts, etc. Please make every effort to leave the premises in the same clean condition as found at the start of the Test. Every student should bring sufficient drinking water to meet the days requirement for himself/herself. We thank everyone in advance for their maximum cooperation in this respect. In all matters connected with the conduct of the Test at the Examination Centres, the decision of the Examination Superintendent will be final.
