INTRODUCTION

Open source software is computer software for which the human-readable source code is made available under a copyright license (or arrangement such as the public domain).it also can modify by the programmer Generically, open source refers to a program in which the source code is available to the general public for use and/or modification from its original design free of charge. Computer hardware is the physical part of a computer, including the digital circuitry, as distinguished from the computer software that executes within the hardware. Meaning of pervasive computing is mean by the intelligence of computer to do human work in daily life.

2.1

Meaning of open source Operating System

Generically, open source refers to a program in which the source code is existing to the general public for use and/or modification from its original design free of charge. An operating system is a set of programs that schedule tasks, allocates storage and presents a default interface to the user between applications. Many of the first operating systems were device dependent and proprietary.

2.2

Examples of open source Operating System

1) Linux Linux is a Unix-like computer operating system. Linux is one of the most prominent examples of free software and open source development: typically all underlying source code can be freely modified, used, and redistributed by anyone. 2) UNIX Unix is a capable of handling a high volume of transaction in a multi-user environment and work with multiple processing

The latest open source application of software

3.1

Meaning of open source application software

Application software is a subclass of computer software that employs the capabilities of a computer directly and thoroughly to a task that the user wishes to perform. Typical examples of software applications are word processors, spreadsheets, and media players. Examples of open source application software 1. Presentation -We can present our presentation by use in Power Point 2. Graphics editing -We can edit picture by use Adobe Photoshop

The latest development in ICT 4.1 Computer hardware

Computer hardware is the physical part of a computer, including the digital circuitry, as distinguished from the computer software that executes within the hardware. The hardware of a computer is infrequently changed, in comparison with software and hardware data, which are "soft" in the sense that they are readily created, modified or erased on the computer. Examples of hardware A typical personal computer consists of a case or chassis in a tower shape (desktop) and the following parts: Motherboard/Logic board

Motherboard - the "body" of the computer, through which all other components interface. Central processing unit (CPU) - Performs most of the calculations which enable a computer to function, sometimes referred to as the "brain" of the computer. Computer fan - Used to lower the temperature of the computer; a fan is almost always attached to the CPU, and the computer case will generally have several fans to maintain a constant airflow.

Computer software
Computer software is a general term used to describe a collection of computer

programs, procedures and documentation that perform some tasks on a computer system.[1] The term includes application software such as word processors which perform productive tasks for users, system software such as operating systems, which interface with hardware to provide the necessary services for application software, and middleware which controls and co-ordinates distributed systems.

Pervasive Computing 5.1 Meaning of pervasive computing

Pervasive computing is the trend towards increasingly ubiquitous (another name for the movement is ubiquitous computing), connected computing devices in the environment, a trend being brought about by a convergence of advanced electronic and particularly, wireless - technologies and the Internet.

Examples of Pervasive Computing

Smart home: we can left our baby alone with the smart home just for it to take care our baby Networked devices, sensors, instruments, interfaces : the human can left their work and will done after pervasive computer do for human
