I know! I know! I didnt warn you about the roadblocks that would come your way if you pursued destiny. I hear you telling me that you have faced some hurdles along the way and that you didnt think that living the purpose that God has for you would be this hard. Let me assure you that you are stronger than you think and that everything that has positioned itself to stand in your way is a part of the plan for your life and it will work together to your good. Do you want to hear some good news? There is NOTHING that can really stop you if you get the courage, the tenacity, and the fight to obtain your dream no matter what. I pray that youre just as eager as I am and that you are just like me, willing to move anything out the way to remain ALIVE ON PURPOSE. Turn around take a look behind you (I know people say dont do this but trust me) do you see how far you have come? Do you see how you have overcome the odds and made a decision to run forward with everything you have? Now look ahead of you. Do you see all the people who are waiting for you to cross the finish line and the people who need your help? As we continue on this journey we will continue to address obstacles as well as victories on our pathway to PURPOSE!

Identify your giants and list them on a piece of paper (Remember that giants come in all shapes and sizes but are always unique to each individual) i.e. Giant of Fear, Giant of Family, Giant of Relationships, Roadblocks of Money, Roadblocks of your Geographic Location.
Recognize when they have made YOU the target! Have you ever seen a bully headed your way? Do you walk directly into them and knock their lunch down looking for a fight? Prayerfully the answer is NO! Choose a different mindset! Giant & Roadblocks can only become larger than life when you allow them to be. Look at it again ~ SHRINK it!

Q. What do you believe was your biggest accomplishment? A. Honestly, I think one of my
biggest accomplishments has been being able to fly a plane at the Nikki Kikwa Aviation Camp. This is because I was able to overcome my tremendous fear of heights.
Q. What is a roadblock that you have faced and overcame in your life? A. I think some of the biggest
roadblocks that I have overcome are having the ability to get over both my fathers death, the marriage of my mother to my stepfather, and my Aunts death.
John 3:16 says, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
So no matter what type of seeds your life has been producing know that abiding in God will get you to your divine place of purpose and destiny. God wants us to ABIDE! Abide through the storm, the hurt, pain, rejection, misunderstanding, frustration, denial, and low self-esteem. Just ABIDE! The promises of God don't include that you won't get dirty but they do include a YES and AMEN!! I want to leave you with one of my favorite passages of scripture which is John 15: 1-7 (KJV) which reads I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. From My Heart to Yours, Niyia L. Whitsett

is for PURPOSE
I dont have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times Ive hit that point of utter frustration and self-loathing. I would honestly try with all I had to not mess up. Id tell God that was the last time; I know better. It wont happen again. It may not have happened again for a few days, weeks, or even several months, but ultimately it did happen again. And I found myself right back where I started. This pattern was driving me crazy; what is wrong with me I thought. Why cant I just stay on course? Is any of this sounding familiar? Well, keep reading.
I had to deal with whatever it was that was causing me to repeat the pattern. So, I began taking a deep look within to find whatever was causing my problem in order to remove it. The first place I looked was my past. I thought well, maybe I keep repeating this pattern because I was raised in a single-parent home where we didnt show affection, so I was looking to fill that affection void. But the more I thought about that line of reasoning the more I had to dig and I further reasoned that my home was like that because my mother grew up witnessing domestic violence and a dysfunctional marriage, which lead to her own string of bad relationship choices. But the more I kept going back generation by generation, the less convinced I was that this was helping. I finally realized that I could keep digging back all the way to Adam and Eve and thats when I found my answer. All of this is the result of one thing...believing a lie. Eve had believed a lie and everyone in my genealogy all the way back to Eve had done the same thing. So, my predicament had less to do with my past and more to do with my present. What was I believing?

And thats my question to you. What are you believing thats keeping you in the cycle of bondage? Are you believing that God loves you unconditionally? Are you believing that you are a failure? Are you believing that God has a plan and purpose for your life?
Get up, sister, dont believe the lie that you are too far gone. God wants to take this pain that youre experiencing and turn it into something beautiful. Another new beginning awaits you! Do you believe it?
