Readme -----Video Edit Master is a video editor of many video formats (avi, mpg) without reencoding. Supported formats ----------------*Avi (divx, xvid,..etc) Providing that the codec is installed on your system (Mo st of the codecs are freely available on the internet). *Mpeg (Rename VCD dat files to .mpg to work with the program). Features: --------* Cutting and joining video files that have the same codecs, video size and fram erate easily (To the nearest keyframe). * Removing commercials from video files very fast. * An easy to use user friendly GUI. * Capture video frames as bmp images. What's new in version 1.8 -------------------------* Added support for MPEG-2 files. Choose Mpeg-2 (Default) or Mpeg-1 in the File > Produce Movie menu according to the source video files format. * No need for Windows Media Player to be installed on the system. * Enhanced Playlist now shows the first frame of the added video files, pause yo ur mouse over a video file for video details. * Enhanced and accurate Capture Frame function. * You can capture frame in jpg (Default) or bmp formats. * Most of the Video Editor functions could be done in a video full screen mode, check the Help > Shortcut Keys menu for details. * Fixed bug you cannot remove more than one file at the time. What's new in version 1.5 -------------------------* Added support for AVI files. * Added support for mpeg-1 files. * Added an ability to capture a frame from video (Press the button on the right

of the volume in the Editor window). * Removed the support for wmv files because they were not working probably with windows media player. * Editor window and the main program window are now resizable. * A lot of changes to make the user interface more user friendly. Installation ------------ Unzip all files in a same directory and run VideoEditMaster.exe. Uninstall --------- No uninstall needed, just delete the program directory. How to use it ------------1- Use File > "Add Files" - or simply drag video files - to add the video files that you want to work with... make sure they all have the same video resolution (e.g. 640 X 480), the same frame rate (e.g. 30 fps) and the same encoding. 2- You can either click "Add Files To Segments" button (the whole file will be a dded) or choose the file you want to edit from the combo box on the top of the e dit window (or simply double click the file to edit), seek to the desired video location, press S button (for the start of the segment) and E (for the End) and click the "Add Segment" button. 3- Choose Produce (Ctrl + P) to produce the new video file, all the process is d one without re-encoding meaning it's very fast and there is no loss in quality. 4- You can save the project file for further processing later (Ctrl+S).
