Note that when you place your data in rows (as in A1:A3), you are filtering using OR, ie; John OR Dave. When you place your data in columns (as in F1:G2) you are filtering using AND, so in this instance are saying >24 AND <51. You must also use the exact same headings as in your list, so copy them. Note that blank cells within a criteria range are ignored. Go to Data>Show all to remove the Advanced filter
