OBJECTIVE OF PROJECT

The project is developed for the use of Hotel Management .It aims at making of the transaction of book computerized. It avoids the overhead associated with keeping the record. Its major utility comes into being when we look at the aspect of minimal paperwork on the part of the office .The system also the facility for searching. The project is use to manage customer records of booking & enquire of customer. SCOPE: -The scope this project is creating an application that will allow to manage their records and add help with the project in which contain all the information about the project.ACKNOWLEDGEMET

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The project deals with computerized of Hotel Management System. This project is creating an application that allow Reservation to manage the customer record like booking, cancellation and enquiry of room and add help with the project in which contain all the information about the project.

ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM


5 The customer should be able to perform function like advance booking of room, cancellation of room and enquiry of room. 6 It saves the time of users. 7 Records are more accurate than ledger books. 8 It shows the daily records of reservation.

ANALYSIS OF THE SYSTEM


9 It is a manual system so it is very tedious and time consuming as after every transaction like new customer reservation, enquairy and various registers are to be updated manually. 10No on line queries are available like when a customer ask for a particular record, like enquires of room information then clerk has go through the accession registers firstly to find out whether the record are not. It is very tedious and time consuming. 11After every session the record of the customer are to be renew manually by marking of the records of old customers and enter making of new customer. 12It is very expensive as a lot of stationary is required.

SHORT COMING OF CURRENT SYSTEM


The dealer of HOTEL MANAGEMENT also face problems like: 13They have to depend upon experts for maintaining the records of reservation. 14They have to waste a lot of money and time on this work. 15There requires a lot of efforts for the calculations of gross profits. 16They have to do a lot of manual work. 17There is risk for the leakage of records. We can say that the manual work is risky record system.

Keeping these problems in mind we are developing software. Our project gives the result like enquiry, booking & cancellation of room etc.

INTRODUCTION OF CURRENT SYSTEM As we in our daily life, Hotel manage their records like enquiry, booking, cancellation & other information of customers kept in the registers and ledger book .It is very difficult to manage all records of customer or Hotel enquiry then we need search all registers and ledgers. Generating manually report of the customers are very difficult.
