Eligibilit ty
All who fit in one of the groups listed below are eligible to register for the LSS assessment or LSS f w e S ts accredite courses: ed Surg gical trainees and fellows enrolled in an accredit programme for gene s s n ted eral surgery, urology, gyna aecology, pae ediatric surgery, or other specialty involving lapar r roscopic proc cedures. Certified practicing surgeons urologists, gynaecologists, paediat surgeons or other physicians s, tric s, p perfo orming lapar roscopic proc cedures.

Admissi ionrequire ements

1. All w who meet the eligibility requirements can enrol for the LSS Grade 1 Lev 1 assessm r s f G vel ment. For the subsequent levels (Grad 1 Level 2 & 3 and Grade 2) additional cond de G ditions for enrolment e y. apply 2. To b admitted t an LSS ass be to sessment for Grade 1 Level 2 and above, the par r rticipant also needs to prov that he/sh successfully passed th clinical pe ve he he erformance assessment of the prece a eding LSS level l. 5. The admission r requirements for an LS S assessment are the same as for the LSS accredited s s r a cour rses of the correspondin level. It is up to th participan to determ ng he nt mine whethe he/she er poss sesses the pr roper level of knowledge and skills to enter and successfully p f pass the asse essment.

Certifica ation
To recei ive an LSS c certificate th participan needs to successfully pass the siimulator ass he nt sessment, scenario-based asses ssment, and the clinical p performance assessment.
