B plan competition (Prizes worth `r15,000 + VC + internship)

TIME: 10 am- 2pm

Rules and Regulations:

Maximum number of students to each team is 5. The team details must be clearly mentioned at the time of registration. Each team can send only 1 Business Plan No person can be in two different teams. Entries submitted after deadline will not be considered The entries will be handled with utmost care by the organizers. The decision of the mentor panel and judges will be final..

Steps involved
ROUND 1 - SUBMISSION OF EXECUTIVE SUMMARY An executive summary of not more than 2000 words to be submitted online which must necessarily include: a. The Idea and its USP b. Analysis of the Market competitors, competitive edges, target market, marketing strategy c. Financial Details break even analysis, capital cost d. Infrastructure and workforce requirements

e. The Exit Plan

All entries to be mailed to empresario.esummit@gmail.com, with subject 'B-PLAN'.

You will receive the conformation for the same within a day or two.
Wait for Result Declaration and further instructions. On the basis of the executive summaries, the top 8 teams will be short listed for the next round. Last date for submission of executive summaries is 20th August, 2011, 2359 hrs.

ROUND 2 - PRESENTATION OF B- PLAN The presentation should be in power point in *.ppt format. Each team will be given 10 minutes to present their plan followed by a 2 minute interaction with judges and the audience. Teams are also required to prepare a detailed report. Teams may be penalized for exceeding presentation limit. Presentation and Report must include above mentioned points Please note that the decision of the judges and the organizers will be final and binding. Your B Plan should represent your original work, plagiarism is highly discouraged.

TIME : 10am-4pm

Rules and Regulations:

Maximum number of students to each team is 3. The team details must be clearly mentioned at the time of registration. No person can be in two different teams. To register for the competition, mail your team information to

The decision of judges will be final.

Steps involved
1. Report at the venue at 9:30am sharp.

2. Initially each team will be given a fixed capitol. 3. You have to multiply this capitol. Now how? a. Each team will leave the venue accompanied by one of our members at 10am. b. Our member will handle the capitol at all the times. c. The teams can go anywhere in the city. d. You cannot use your vehicles. You have to travel via auto, rickshaw and its expenses will be deducted from your initial capitol. e. You have to increase your capitol by any means whether it is trade, business, marketing, service or any new idea of your own. f. All teams have to report back at the venue by 3:30pm.

g. Prizes will be given on the basis of the amount returned in addition to the initial capitol and also the ideas used will also be taken into consideration. h. The decisions of the judges will be final.
