Memory Verse Fun Review Week Psalm 150:1-2

SCRIPTURE VERSE Psalm 150: 1-2 Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Psalm 150:1-2 Question: Say, How many of you play an instrument or are taking lessons? Raise you hand. Thank you, you may put your hand down. "Look at this instrument. How can I praise God with this? (Give two kids an opportunity to answer. Demonstrate the instrument.) This instrument makes sound that can glorify God. You must practice the instrument that you are learning to play everyday to get better. Then, God can use you to glorify Him while you play. (Show a Bible) God used his Word to help us to live every day to glorify Him. Say, This is Gods Word. We are going to review our memory verses from Gods Word. Read to the children from the bible the verses for today. Remember that we can worship God by praising Him. This means to clap or put your hand in the air for Jesus to show Him you appreciate Him and love Him. It means to sing to Him and worship Him. God gave us the firmament which means the sky above. Jesus is so mighty and strong and will watch over us and our family. He has done such mighty acts when He created you and me. He loves you and He loves me so much! If you do not know Jesus who lives in heaven you can know Him today. If you do know Jesus, you can praise Him for saving you from your sin.

Pass out slips of paper (6) that have these words written on them. Clap you hands, stomp you feet, pat your head, hands on you hips, hug yourself, hold hands with the person beside you, and turn around. One at a time have the person who has a slip of paper to come up front and lead the kids in doing the action on the slip of paper as the whole class says the verse. After doing this 6 times, then have each side of the room say the verse from memory one time. Sing the Doxology one time. Praise God from whom all blessings flow, Praise Him all creatures here below, Praise Him above ye heavenly host, Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen! Kidz Ministry Jeanne McIntosh 2007.
