Responsive Education Solutions (ResponsiveEd) is seeking an Assistant PEIMS Coordinator.

The Assistant PEIMS Coordinator is responsible to assist the PEIMS Coordinator in collecting student enrollment, withdrawal, demographic, and attendance data and reporting that data to the Texas Education Agency. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelors degree required Experience: Experience as a public school data or PEIMS clerk or registrar preferred. Experience in a leadership or liaison position preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills: 1. Knowledge of state education laws as outlined in the PEIMS Data Standards and Student Attendance Accounting Handbook 2. Ability to communicate with all levels of school staff 3. Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data 4. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills 5. Ability to give attention to minute details Major Responsibilities and Duties: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. Generate and enter period ADA reports in the FSP every six weeks. Provide campus directors with the necessary reports to review for all data submissions. Assist in training school staff on Applidesk. Assist in training the campus secretaries on student enrollment, withdrawal, and attendance procedures. Analyze and monitor campus enrollment, withdrawal, and attendance procedures. Create yearly school calendars including entering the calendars in the FSP and applying for necessary waivers. Enter special program data (Special Ed, LEP, PRS, etc.) in Applidesk. Verify graduate information entered in Applidesk and reported to TEA. Create GPA reports for the senior class of each campus and validate the Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Assist in the submitting of immunization reports to the Health Department each December. Train and supervise PEIMS data entry staff. Provide customer service to the campus directors and other school staff for Applidesk and Share Point. Provide data for the yearly Home School Leavers documentation audit.
