discovery
Discovery oNe is the first step to learning more about the DNA of Fellowship and to finding your place in the work God is doing through us. in this casual gathering, some of our leaders will share our story, our vision, and our values with you, as well as give you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about our church. Discovery TWo takes a deeper look at our churchs distinctiveness. it has a more intense focus on membership expectations and explores stewardship, shepherding, and the need to be an equipping church. this session also offers an introduction to Fellowship kids and Fellowship student Ministries. Discover small Groups allows our leadership to explain our vision for small group ministry and gives you an opportunity to sign up for a group.

We host a discovery one and tWo each month. To sign up, visit the information table or email discovery@fellowshipmemphis.org.

membership
Membership matters. Our members partner with each other in a mutually submissive and mutually beneficial covenant relationship. We believe it helps us fight against a consumeristic mentality and conform to the example of committed community outlined in Scripture. to BeCoMe A MeMBer:

it helps us fight against a consumeristic mentality and conform to the example of committed community outlined in scripture. Loving others through service allows us to become the hands and feet of the gospel and forges deep connections with fellow members of the Body of Christ. We encourage you to get involved in a Fellowship focused ministry and to consider involvement in the community. to get involved, attend a discovery or email the contact for the ministry area below. We allow attenders to spend up to a year serving as a guest while you determine if Fellowship Memphis is the community of believers you would like to commit to in membership.

here at Fellowship, we desire to help you move from isolation and individualism

toward the radical and counter-cultural idea of Biblical community. In order to facilitate this, our

small groups

small groups meet in homes around the city throughout the week. in these groups, individuals will share life, pray, study the Word, and reach out to the city of Memphis. together, these groups also connect you to the pastoral care of our church. Our small group structure begins with a three year process that is designed to build community and to equip you to make disciples of Jesus Christ. yeAr 1 Community Groups are mix gender groups that study the Scriptural basis of our core values. yeArs 2 & 3 Growth Groups are gender specific groups that explore spiritual leadership, your relationship with God, your relationships with others, core theology, and inductive Bible study. yeArs 4 & Beyond We hope to unleash you to equip others either through leading a small group or engaging 1 on 1 with people in our city.
