Filters can be applied and saved even if no value has been assigned
Filters with no values can be saved in a library as well; hence a user can create
its own templates
The same Filter can be applied twice in the same AND group

Add Time Search option: delimit the search of frames or CDRs in a
limited time frame to reduce Search waiting (From/To filter)

Scenario and main capabilities
Tech details
10 Gbit interface
10Gbps interface
Scenario and main capabilities
Scenario
SGSN/GGSN interfaces are transitioning from 1Gbps to
10Gbps
Several of Accantos major operators plan to deploy new
SGSNs with 10Gbps.
Main application of the 10Gb board will be the monitor of Gn on new SGSN
Filters implemented
MAC address
IPv4 \ IPv6 addresses
VLAN id (up to 3 nestled, a.k.a. QinQ VLAN)
UDP / TCP ports (Discard only)
IFE(Intelligent Filtering Engine)
IP Capture\Discard setup - centralized configuration page for any filter
combination
IFE engine dynamically assigns filters to either the 10Gb card or at software level
to optimize performance
48
10Gbps interface
Technical details
Highly accurate timestamping
The 100 nanosec resolution will be leveraged for specific intra-probe
differential metrics (e.g. Jitter calculation)
Pantera Models
The model that best exploits the 10 Gb board capability is Pantera 12000; up to 6 boards
can be hosted, with up to 12Gb/s in output (post HW filter) per board
Alternative models are Pantera 6000 / 6500 which can host just 1 board, with up to 4
Gb/s in output (post HW filter)
10GB Tech details
2Gb buffer
Timestamp accuracy: 100 nanosec
Single bi-directional monitor Port (2 RX)
Selectable SFP for:
Multi-mode SR (850 nm)
Single-mode LR (1310 nm)
Single-mode ER (1550 nm)
Note: in case of multi 10G links to monitor, aggregator TAP is suggested to
concentrate traffic on fewer 10G interfaces toward the probe
