Prophetic Dream: Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) 2013

Andre Niemands Dream: July 22, 2011 I dreamt I heard a voice saying, I move the 7th October to 13th September. Then I woke up. Comment I did not know if the One who was speaking meant He will bring the 7th October forward to 13th September 2011 or move the date onward to 13th September some other year in future. When I woke up I had no idea what the two dates meant. Interpretation My friend, Janette Hatton, supplied me with information on Yom Kippur that enabled me to understand the riddle. Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, falls on the Hebrew calendar date of 10 Tishrei. Here are the coinciding secular dates for upcoming years: 2011: October 7-8 2012: September 25-26 2013: September 13-14 2014: October 3-4 2015: September 22-23 The Jewish calendar date begins at sundown of the night beforehand. Thus all Yom Kippur observances begin at sundown on the first secular day listed, and concluded the following day at nightfall. Adding above information to the dream I can rephrase the message of the voice in my dream by saying, I move sundown 7th October 2011 to sundown 13th September 2013. 1

This is not a personal message because the Day of Atonement is not to be observed by myself as an individual but by the people of the Lord as a nation as an eternal ordinance. The only message in the dream is that God emphasizes the Day of Atonement 2013 as an important date. The dream does not suggest what the Lord will do on the 13th September 2013 but because of the emphasis on it I believe He will do something significantly important on that day. I firmly believe this dream is a message from God and I will prepare and speak accordingly. Overview: Seven annual festival events in Israel If you do not have basic knowledge of the types, shadows and symbolism of the Bible much of the grandeur of certain truths in Scripture, and in this case the Day of Atonement, are obscured and often lost. To put the spiritual significance of the Day of Atonement in perspective, I endeavor to give short descriptions of how I understand the spiritual significance of each of the seven events in the three feasts of Israel. God is Spirit and the Spirit of God is God, three persons yet one God. The Spirit of the Father, the Spirit of Christ and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. In each one of the three feasts of Israel a different person of the Godhead features. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit [Holy Spirit]. There are differences of ministries [five-fold ministry], but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities [energy], but it is the same God [Father] who works all in all (1 Corinthians 12:4-6). The Feast of Passover consists of three events, the Passover, unleavened bread and sheaf of firstfruits. 2

The fulfillment of this feast is a manifestation of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Passover is the Feast of Christ. The Feast of Pentecost is a single event. The fulfillment of this feast is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost is the Feast of the Holy Spirit. The Feast of Tabernacles consists of three events, the blowing of trumpets, Day of Atonement and Tabernacles. The fulfillment of this feast will be a manifestation of the Spirit of the Father. The Feast of Tabernacles is the Feast of God (Father). Feast of Passover The fulfillment of the Feast of Passover is the Feast of Jesus Christ. His Spirit indwells every man that calls on the name of the Lord. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His (Romans 8:9b, emphasis added). The Feast of Passover is about being baptized into Christ. Or do you not know that as many of us that were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:3-4, emphasis added). When He ascended to heaven He gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip the saints for the work of service, until all come to the knowledge of Christ to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13, emphasis added). There are differences of ministries [five-fold ministry], but the same Lord. (1 Corinthians 12:5). Through the fivefold ministry the Spirit of Christ is released in the lives of some people to manifest His glorious authority in His Church. 3

Passover Lamb Passover occurs on the 14th day of Nissan every year. The blood of the Passover lamb delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt and the blood of the Lamb of God Christians from the slavery of sin. Unleavened Bread Leaven symbolizes sin and evil. Unleavened bread in the New Testament symbolizes the body of the Lord, who is the Bread of Life. He was born in Bethlehem which, in Hebrew, means, House of Bread. He was without sin (leaven), the Lamb of God without spot or blemish. Eating unleavened bread over a period of seven (spiritual perfection and completeness) days, symbolizes a constant holy walk with God. Sheaf of Firstfruits The waving of the Sheaf of the Firstfruits of the Barley harvest before the Lord took place on the morrow after the Sabbath. The waving of the sheaf represents the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which points to our future glorious state as part of the coming harvest of God at the end of the age. Feast of Pentecost The Feast of Pentecost is a single event. On Pentecost two loaves of newly ripened grain were presented before God as a wave offering as firstfruits unto the Lord. On the Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was poured out and the Early Church was born as firstfruits of a great harvest to follow. The two loaves symbolize Christ making of Jews and Gentiles one new man in Him. The fulfillment of the Feast of Pentecost was the Feast of the Holy Spirit. The Lord, after His resurrection, breathed on His disciples and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. Though they received the Holy Spirit they still had to tarry ten 4

days to be baptized in the Holy Spirit; the fulfillment of the Feast of Pentecost. When you are baptized in the Holy Spirit, He takes residence in your life in a powerful manner and He gives you some gifts as He pleases for the benefit of the Church. There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit [Holy Spirit]. (1 Corinthians 12:4). One that is baptized in the Holy Spirit should also start to walk in the Spirit and should grow in the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit in his or her life, which is the proof of spiritual growth. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such is no law (Galatians 5:22-23). The Holy Spirit will lead you in all truth and is your helper and much, much more. The first four festival events were fulfilled on earth and transformed the lives of both Jewish and Gentile Christians. Those outside of Christ, both Jews and Gentiles, have no part in this. The last three events will also be fulfilled on earth and will once again be applicable in the lives of both Jewish and Gentile Christians. Jews and Gentiles outside of Christ will have no part in this. The blessing of all promises of God is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and not by race. Feast of Tabernacles The Feast of Tabernacles consists of three events and is still to be fulfilled. It is the Feast of the Father. When you are baptized in the Father, His Spirit will live in you without measure and you will experience the greater works, which Jesus spoke off. And there are diversities of activities [energy], but it is the same God [Father] who works all in all (1 Corinthians 12: 6). In addition you cannot sin because you are permanently in the Spirit. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God [Father] dwells in you (Romans 8:9a). 5

You may say I have the Spirit of the Father; if I have the Son, I have the Father. That is just as true as when the Lord, after His resurrection, breathed on His disciples and said to them, Receive the Holy Spirit. Although they received the Holy Spirit they still had to tarry ten days for the fulfillment of the Feast of Pentecost to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. As all the feasts of the Lord are appointed times for His visitation, the Lord has set aside an appointed time for those who will tarry for the fulfillment of the last feast events to be baptized in the Spirit of the Father; then they will not be in the flesh but in the Spirit. Blowing of Trumpets God commanded Israel to make two silver trumpets to blow it when calling the assembly, journeying of the camps, preparation for war and celebration of the feasts. The Feast of Trumpets, Rosh Hashanah, falls on the Hebrew calendar date of 1 Tishrei. The ten days starting with Rosh Hashanah and ending with Yom Kippur, on 10 Tishrei, are commonly known as the Days of Awe (Yamim Noraim) or the Days of Repentance. It is normally a time characterized by repentance, prayer and good deeds. Among the Jewish customs of the time, it is common to seek forgiveness and reconciliation of those you might have wronged during the course of the year. The Lord has restored a prophetic voice in these last days that is declaring the Day of the Lord, and His approaching Kingdom. A prophetic voice is crying, Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight. And, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! The sound of this trumpet during this time sounds different from the other times when the other new moons were announced, so is the sound and urgency of this message and 6

most people will not like it. Also, I set watchmen over you, saying, Listen to the sound of the trumpet! But they said, We will not listen (Jeremiah 6:17). The Feast of Trumpets was observed until the ninth day of the month at evening; the tenth day starts with the Day of Atonement. Nine is the last number of the digits and signifies the end or conclusion in a matter or finality or judgment. Nine signifies an end to the Churchs former way of walking or the judgment of the House of the Lord. I do not know why there is such a resistance against the message of repentance and judgment. Repentance is about sin being blotted out, and times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, so that He may send Jesus Christ. The judgment of the Church is not about sending people to hell but that all things may be reconciled to God in His Son. Gods judgment is that He may establish righteousness and serve justice. Christ came to save, not to condemn. The judgment of the Church is not about condemnation but liberation. Repentance and judgment is very liberating experiences. We should not run from it but embrace it; but, the prince of this world is casted out and the world is under condemnation. Day of Atonement The Day of Atonement is no duplication of the Feast of Passover. Though the Lamb of God took away our sin on Calvary, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is not walking in the fullness of the work of the cross. When we were born-again, Christ made His abode in us and our spirit became alive to God because of Christs righteousness in us. Presently, our body is still dead to God because of sin and our soul who lives in the blood of our body of sin is enmity against God. That is why our walking in the 7

Spirit is in measure, which is the continual evidence of our imperfection. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus also laid hold of me (Philippians 3:12, emphasis added). Because of imperfection we are still walking by faith in hope to attain to resurrection life in the body and to be perfected in the soul. Our groaning in our spirit is to be alive to God, spirit, soul and body. Two thousand years in time has proved that the Church remains unsuccessful. Why? Gods redemption plan is different from His restoration plan. His redemption plan is the provision and His restoration plan is the fulfillment of His promises through faith in God and Jesus Christ. If Christs redemption and restoration plans were synonymous we would have been perfected when He died and was raised from the dead. The age of imperfection would have ended and the day of perfection and fulfillment would have dawned. However, the fulfillment of Gods redemption plan on the cross was the beginning of His restoration plan. Salvation is your spirit made alive to God; the first step of God restoring you to perfection in Christ. Presently, your body and soul are in need of restoration. We know that we shall put on immortality and perfection at the last trumpet but the time of fulfillment of the Day of Atonement for the Church will be beforehand, just as the Day of Atonement precedes the Feast of Tabernacles. Remember, Christ was only glorified in His body three and a half years after the Father bestowed upon Him sonship during His baptism. Also, before Enoch was taken and translated (Tabernacle experience) he 8

had this testimony (Atonement experience; testimony of sonship), that he pleased God. The fullness of Atonement is the testimony (testimony of sonship) that you are well pleasing to God. The fulfillment of the Day of Atonement is about conforming to Christs maturity but the fulfillment of Tabernacles is for those who will be changed at the last trumpet and has nothing to do with spiritual maturity but the glorification of the body. The fulfillment of the Day of Atonement will be the removal of the human sinful nature as we will be baptized in the Spirit of the Father just like the sinless Lamb of God during His baptism. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God [Father] dwells in you (Romans 8:9a). When we will be brought back to life by the glory of the Father, we will manifest newness of life beyond the level of faith. Tabernacles Pentecost was a harvest of firstfruits but the Feast of Tabernacles, to be celebrated in the seventh month, constitutes the ingathering of Gods great harvest of souls. Preparation for 13 September 2013 Receiving this dream on 22 July, 2011, more than two years in advance of 13 September 2013 is enough indication that the Lord meant this time to be a time of preparation. During April/May 2011 we had at least four dreams indicating that the Lord is busy to train His people as soldiers. Two of those dreams indicated a training period of two years; and then this dream. On the 16 of February I had in one night three dreams in which the Lord instructed me, in a very 9

unambiguous manner, to start a school of prophets. All these messages together outline a bigger vision. The Day of Atonement was celebrated on the tenth day of the seventh month. Ten signifies law and order (ordinal perfection). So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments (Exodus 34:28, emphasis added). The law is not made for a righteous man but for the disobedient, unholy and sinners. The righteous requirement of the law is fulfilled in those who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. We are not under the law if we are walking according to the Spirit. If we do not walk in the Spirit we are under the law of our conscience, otherwise we are lawless. To live according to the flesh is to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good (law or legalism) and evil (lawlessness). The Lord has not given His people a choice between good and evil but between life (tree of life) and death (tree of knowledge). Ten also refers to trial and testing. Testing and trial are for the purpose of preparation. If we are not properly prepared we will not be fit for the Masters use; He will not use the unprepared. Daniel requested the chief of the eunuchs of king Nebuchadnezzar to put him and his friends for ten days on vegetables and water only, that they may prove that their appearances will be more excellent than those of the young men who dieted on the kings delicacies. Please test your servants for ten days (Daniel 1:12a). How will we prepare ourselves? Our preparation for the day of the Lord will be best served by dieting on the Word of the Lord rather than on speculation about times and seasons and doctrines of men (kings delicacies). 10

John prophesied that the Church in Smyrna (means myrrh, a bitter gum and costly perfume) shall have ten days tribulation (Revelation 2:10). The trial of your faith though through fire is more precious than gold; it produces the fruit of righteousness. Though it is often a bitter process it yields sweet smelling incense before the Lord. How will we prepare ourselves? This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him. If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He will also deny us (2 Timothy 2:11-12). Ten virgins were tested by obtaining oil and had to be watchful for the bridegrooms coming (Matthew 25:1-13). The unprepared did not partake of the marriage feast. You may say 13 September 2013 will not be the marriage feast of the Lamb. You are probably right but the principal remains the same. If you will not be prepared you will not partake of this blessing. The tenth day (number ten) is significant because the Holy Spirit inspired every iota and title of Scripture. How will we prepare ourselves? Jesus answered and said to them, You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God [Holy Spirit] (Matthew 22:29). Not only shall we diet on the Word of the Lord, but we shall also enter into and maintain an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit (obtaining oil) seeking the will of the Lord (watchful, expecting the day of the Lords visitation). Hundred and twenty early disciples tarried for the Holy Spirit ten days. Paul said that the Lord, after His resurrection, appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve and after that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at the same time. The answer is, Why were only hundred and twenty of so many waiting for the Holy Spirit ten days? Was there a testing and trails and a sifting that cause so many 11

to miss out on the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit? Well, only hundred and twenty disciples of so many were prepared and ready for the Day of Pentecost. How will we prepare ourselves? If the disciples had tarried for the day of Pentecost, likewise we will tarry for the Day of Atonement. Unless we will faithfully continue in our hope to be set free of our sinful nature we will not necessarily go to hell but we will continue in leanness of soul and lose out on the day when the Spirit of the Father will pour Himself out in prepared hearts of men; our reward and fulfillment will be lost. If anyones work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward [throne of authority and crown of glory]. If anyones work is burned, he will suffer loss [called least in the kingdom of God]; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire (1 Corinthians 3:14-15). The Day of Atonement is a day of affliction. It does not refer to legalism but our testing will be our affliction. Our faith will be purified through fire. We will be purged by the Spirit of judgment and the Spirit of burning. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it (Matthew 16:25). Like Job, if you persevere to the end you will receive a double portion. If you will save your life, you will have to be judged with many in the Church in the great tribulation. Do not be deceived to think that a carnal Church living lukewarm lives will fly to heaven. For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the Gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:19). God will only judge the world after He has judged His Church. If you are judged beforehand you will not be judged again. For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged (1 Corinthians 12

11:31). God will preserve you in a place of safety during the tribulation (Psalms 91; Revelation 12:6). Some time ago I was tired of getting into discussions with people believing in the pretribulation rapture theory on the one side and a prominent South African prophets end time view that the book of revelation is already being fulfilled. I told the Lord that inwardly I was tired of this prophetic confusion. Then on May 24, 2011 I had a dream. Dream I dreamt I saw the book of Revelation opened. Chapter one had a cross through every paragraph in the chapter. I knew chapter one was fulfilled. The rest of the book of Revelation must still come into fulfillment. I looked at chapters two and three and wondered why they were not fulfilled. Then I knew in it is hidden the judgment of the Church. I knew then that the next event was not the so-called rapture of the Church or even the sons of God to be caught up to God and His throne, but next on the calendar of God are the judgment of the Church. This was the end of my dream. Comments (My impressions) As I woke up, not yet fully awake 1 Peter 4:17 came to mind. For the time that judgment must begin at the House of God: and if it first begin at us what shall the end be of them that obey not the Gospel of God (1 Peter 4:17, emphasis added). I knew then that beyond a shadow of a doubt that God will not judge the world before He has judged His house. At the time of the dream chapter one of the book of Revelation is all that came into fulfillment of the 13

things John has seen. According to verses 11 and 19 it was the recording of the vision. Chapters two and three indicate that the judgment of the Church is next on Gods agenda. True preparation is to conform to the spirit of Atonement. It is a fasting from the flesh; developing an ever-growing humble attitude of total dependence on the Lord. Be not be deceived it is serious. I had this dream in 1973: The Dream In 1973 I had a dream about the rapture. It was not the rapture of the Church but the rapture of a remnant in the Church. It was the rapture or birth of the sons of God. I dreamed I was in a house, in the kitchen of the house. I looked through the window and saw that it was a very dark night. Then I saw the rapture. They that went up were outside of the house. They were very few in number, one out of a generation, and two in a city. Those blessed ones shone liked that of fine polished gold. They ascended into the sky. They were the only light in the darkness. Yes, like stars they shone in the night as they ascended. They were the only glittering objects in a black dark night. I was disappointed because I was in the house, in the kitchen of the house. Deep inside of me I knew I was never ready to be counted with the sons of God. Sonship was offered to me on a platter but the price was too high to pay. The price is your very life, your spirit, your soul, your body and everything you possess. But believe me, it is worth it. However in my dream it was too much for me. In the dream I have wasted my time like most of us. Interpretation The kitchen is a place to prepare food to satisfy physical hunger and thirst. In the dream it was one of the most dangerous places to be, because to be 14

worried and troubled by household issues will distract you from the higher calling of God in Jesus Christ. "Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and approached Him and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me. And Jesus answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken from her (Luke 10:38-41, emphasis added). If you are in the kitchen of your heart you are worried and troubled about many things, distracted from Gods purpose for your life. You need to learn to rest in God at the feet of Jesus. The religious church-world distracts the saints through carnal programs and false teachings telling them they will escape the day of trouble. Religion distracts the saints. There is still time to prepare but no time to waste! NOTE: Dreams and visions are given by the Holy Spirit for direction in the church, and for intercession and prayer purposes, and not to establish doctrine. The Scriptures are the only basis for Church doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16).
