Vegetarian
Alu Chat

6 medium potatoes 4 tsp sugar 5 tsp chat masala - juice of lemon tsp each kala namak, garam masala, dhania, amchoor. 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leaves

Steam potatoes for 9 minutes, peel and cube them. Mix sugar with 4 tbsp of water. Micro high for 1 minute. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Mix chat masala with 5 tsp water. Mix with sugar along with rest of the ingredients except coriander leaves. Pour the mixture over the potatoes and mix well. Leave to stand for 1 hour. Garnish with coriander leaves before serving.

Aloo Methi

1/2 Kilogram of methi, pluck the leaves and cut them fine 3 to 4 potatoes steamed and cut into pieces

(To steam the potatoes in any polybag, close it tightly and Microwave High for 5 minutes) Put the methi in a sieve under the tap and wash it properly. Spread the methi in a shallow dish and Microwave High for 5 minutes. Stir it and Microwave High again for 5 minutes. Add potatoes, 2 tea spoon oil salt and red chillies to taste. Mix well; add few drops of water if it looks too dry. Microwave High for 2 minutes. Change to a smaller bowl and keep it covered till serving time.

Bambino Sewian

1 Cup Sewian roasted in karahi 1tbsp Oil cup Chopped Onion 1/2cup Finally chopped Tomatoes 1 cup Water cup Peas 1tsp Chopped Green Chillies - optional. tsp Salt Few leaves Dhania

Put oil,onion,tomatoes,peas,salt in cooker. Micro high for 3 minutes. Add water & roasted sewian. Cook for other 5 minutes. Garnish with dhania leaves. Standing time 10 minutes.

Besan Cocktail Circles


1 cup besan 1/4 cup sooji 1 cup curd 1 cup mixed vegetables (grated capsicum, carrots, cabbage, green chillies and coriender leaves) Salt (to taste) 1 tsp Eno's fruit salt

Mix all ingredients except Eno's fruit salt. Put some water if needed. Now add Eno's fruit salt and stir till it starts bubbling. Keep aside for 10 minutes. Put 1 tbsp each in greased idli moulds. Micro it for 3 minutes each round. Serve with sauce, green chutney etc.

Disco Idli
Replace besan with sooji. Repeat same recipe. Then it comes out as a beautiful multicolored idli. Serve as a snack.

Bhari Simla Mirch


4 large capsicums 1 tbsp oil tsp ajwain 1 onion chopped - green chilies to taste chopped 350 gms cottage cheese crumbled tsp garam masala - salt and pepper to taste 2 tomatoes chopped

Slice the capsicum in halves length wise making two cups. Heat oil for 2 minutes. Add cottage cheese and tomatoes, mix and cook 2 minutes. stand 3 minutes. Add salt pepper and garam masala. Pile the cottage cheese mixture into the capsicums. Micro high when ready to serve (3 minutes). You can use any other filling like keema, potatoes etc.

Chinese Fried Rice


250 grams short grain rice 450 ml water 6 mushrooms 1 tsp salt 1 tsp garam masala 1 cup finely cut cabbage cup finely cut beans 4 tbsp oil sesame 1 tsp finely grated ginger 1 tsp crushed garlic 2 egg beaten cup chopped spring onions 2 tbsp soya sauce 2 tbsp water

If possible, cook rice the day before, otherwise soak rice in 400 ml of water for 1 hour. Micro medium 10 minutes. When ready spread one tray to cool. All grains must be separated. Steam mushrooms for 1 minute. Cut the stems and discard. Finely chop the mushrooms. Heat the oil and put salt and garam masala - add ginger and garlic and micro high 1 minute. Add mushrooms beans, cabbage, and mix. Add rice, mix well, stir in spring onions, and 2 tbsps water. Micro high 2 minutes. Mix soya sauce. Take beaten egg and spoon it into rice moving rice with a fork - serve hot.

Delicious Chutney

From Ghia, Apples, Raw Mango or any other fruit


1cup grated fruit or vegetables. 1cup Sugar 1tsp Rock Salt tsp Chilli Powder tsp Jeera Powder 3tsp Lemon Juice

Mix all and MH covered for 5 minutes. Stand for 5 minutes. Stir and MH for 5 minutes uncovered. MH for 2-3 minutes if it looks a little watery.

Dahi Barha

2tbspn Coriander leaves 1cup Dal urad powder 1/2tsp 1/2tsp 1/2kg Curd 2tbspn grated Ginger Salt Eno

Take 1 cup dal urad powder mix water to droppable consistency add coriander leaves , ginger and green chillies and salt add enos . Pour 1 tsp full in idli moulds micro high for 3 minutes. Remove & put into cold water. Put curd in shallow dish (curd should be beaten smoothly and salt mixed to it.). Press out the water from the barhas and put it in curd garnish it with red chili powder, jeera powder and dhania leaves and serve cool.

Dhokla
1 cup besan cup sooji 1 cup curd - salt to taste 3 tbsp sugar 1 pinch haldi 2 tsp Eno fruit salt Put cup water in the bottom of container. Mix all. Micro high in "Mirco Wonder" for 6 minutes. Transfer to a shallow dish. Tadka 1 tsp oil tsp rai 5-4 green chilies - curry patta 2 lemons 2 tbsp sugar 3 cup water Heat oil. Add rai. Let it crackle. Add green chilies halved and deseeded. Saut for a minute. Add water, sugar and lemon juice. Boil for 3 minutes. Cut dhokla in pieces and pour the water mixture on dhokla. Keep aside for hour till all the water is absorbed. Serve chilled.

Kadhai Paneer

200gms 2tbps 3tbps 1tbps 1tsp 1/2tsp 1tsp 1/2tsp

Paneer (cut into 1/2" cubes) Oil Tomato puree (readymade) Kasoori methi Salt Red chili powder Dhania powder Garam masala

Flakes garlic (crushed)

Capsicum(cut into long thin pieces)

In a dish add oil & garlic. Micro high uncovered for 2 minutes. Add tomato puree. Add kasoori methi, salt, sugar, red chili powder, dhania & garam masala. Mix well. Add capsicum. Mix. Micro high uncovered for 3 minutes. Add paneer. Mix well. Keep aside. At serving time add 2 tbs cream and micro high for 2 minutes. Serve hot.

Momos
1 cup crushed macaroni 1 cup water- boiling cup nutrella 2 tbsp soya sauce tsp red chilies cup veg chopped and chilies-optional Soak macaroni and nutrella in boiling water. Mix Soya sauce, salt, veg, chilies. Mix well. Keep aside.

6 heaped tbsp maida 2 tbsp oil tbsp salt - some water

Make dough. Make 1 small ball at one time about inch in size. Spread it with rolling pin (belan) till it is thin like a small roti. Put 2 tsp of filling in middle. Seal it putting some water on the sides of the rounded side of roti. Steam in micro wonder. Micro high for 4 minutes. Deep fry in sesame oil (til ka tel) till golden brown. Serve hot. Make 15 momos.

Patato Tikki for Burgers

Steam six Potatoes in poly bag for 7 minutes. Mash potatoes. Add matar Cup, Salt to taste, 2 tsp Corn flour, green chilies, 2 tsp Soya sauce. Mix well. Make into Tikkis. Smear with softened Butter all over and coat with bread crumbs. Put in a flat dish. M.H. 3 minutes. Turn and M.H. 2 minutes.

Palak Paneer

Kg Palak (Washed & Chopped ) 2small Tomatoes 3Green chillies 4pieces of Garlic 4tbsp soaked Channa Dal

Mix together & steam for 6 minutes. Grind in Mixi. Put 1 tsp Butter, 2 tbsp Tomato Puree, 1 tsp Ginger Paste, Salt and Red Chillies.M.H. 3 minutes. Add Palak and 100 gms. paneer pieces. M.H. 2 minutes.

Rice Idli

1 Cup Rice Powder 1/2cup Dal urad Powder Salt (to taste) 2 tsp Eno's fruit salt

Mix Rice powder & Dal powder & Salt with 2 cups Water. Add eno to it. Keep aside for 5 to 10 minutes. Spoon drop the mixture in slightly oiled idli moulds. Cook in microwave for 3 minutes. Let it stand for 1 minutes. Serve hot with chutney, sauce or sambher.

Rice Pulao

1Cup Rice 1 Cup Water Salt to taste Cup Peas cup Onions finely chopped cup Tomatoes finely chopped tsp Jeera tsp Garam Masala 1tsp Oil

Put Oil, Onions, Tomatoes, Peas and Jeera in Multi Cooker. MH 3 minutes, uncovered . Mix Rice, Salt Garam Masala, & Water. Cook for 4 minutes uncovered. Stirr & Cook for 4 minutes covered, Standing time 10 minutes.

Butter Chicken

1 chicken bone less 1 small onion 3-4 flakes garlic 1" piece ginger cup tomato ready made puree 1 tsp garam masala tsp dhania powder tsp jeera powder tsp degi mirch 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp kasoori methi 4 tbsp cashew nuts ground to paste cup cream 3 tbsp oil - slit green chili for garnishing tbsp cream

Grind together onion garlic ginger, mix oil, onion paste. Add garam masala, jeera, dhania. Micro high uncovered for 3 minutes. Add tomato puree, red chilli, sugar, chicken methi. Mix well. Micro high covered for 6 minutes.

Chicken Biryani

1 cups basmati rice 4pieces of chicken (2legs &2 thighs or 2legs& 2 breasts) 2medium sized onions sliced thinly 4laung (cloves) 1 stick dalchini (cinnamon) 2moti illaichi 3tbsppure ghee or oil 2medium size tomatoes chopped finely 2tsp salt 1tsp garam masala 1tsp red chilli powder 1tsp garlic paste 1tsp ginger paste 2 cups water

Wash and soak the rice in water for 1 hour. In the dish, add ghee, moti illiachi, laung & dalchini . Micro high uncovered for 3 minutes. Add rice, chicken tomatoes, salt, garam masala, red chilies garlic & ginger paste .Mix well. Add rice, chicken, tomatoes, salt, garam masala, red chilies, garlic & ginger paste. Mix well. Add 2 cups water. Mix. Micro high covered for 17 minutes. Let it stand for 4-5 minutes. Fluff it up with a fork to separate the grains of rice. Serve hot. Note: When you finish cooking , some water may still remain in the rice remain in the rice but it is absorbed during standing

Chicken Koftas Indgredients


500Gms Keema (chicken) 1tbps Ginger paste 1tbsp Garlic paste 3-4 Green chilies (chopped) 1tsp Garam masala 3 Bread (sliced) Egg 1tsp Salt (or to taste) 1/4cup Coriander leaves (chopped)

Tomato Sauce

5 Tomatoes (large) 2 Ginger (piece) 1tsp Salt 1tsp Red chili 1tsp Jeera powder 1cup Cream or malai 1pinch Orange red colour

Method
Grind- tomatoes, jeera, salt, chili powder in a mixie. Micro high 10 minutes. Add cream and little orange red colour. Mix and keep aside.

Koftas
Soak bread; squeeze & crumble. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Make into balls. Place on a plate keeping distance in between each ball. Micro high 5 minutes uncovered. Add koftas to above curry. Micro high for 4 minutes. Let it stand for 5 minutes. Garnish it with coriander leaves.

Nawabi Keema
250 gms thick curd, beaten 2 onions ground 1 tsp coriander powder (dhania) 3 green ilaichis, crushed tsp haldi - green chilies chopped 1 tsp jeera powder 500 gms minced meat 2 tbspn oil 1 tsp each cumin seeds and fennel tsp garam masala 2 tsp garlic - ginger paste 1 cup pees Mix the curd with next eight ingredients. Marinate for 1 hr at room temperature. Put oil in dish and heat for 2 minute. Drop in jeera and fennel and cook in covered 1 minute, add ginger and garlic paste and cook for another minute. Pour meat with its marinate, salt and peas. Micro high 6 minutes covered. Stir. Micro high 6 minutes. Standing time 4 minutes. Garnish with garam masala and coriander leaves.

Mayonnaise

1 egg at room temperature 2tbsp vinegar tsp salt tsp pepper 1 tbsp mustard powder 2 garlic cloves 1 cup oil.

Put all in mixy except oil, mix well (15 seconds) .Gradually mix oil and keep on blending in mixy. When mixture thickens the Mayonnaise is ready. Use as required

Meat Loaf

500gm keema (minced meat) cup curd 2eggs 1tsp garlic paste 1tsp ginger paste 1tsp garam masala powder 2tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1tsp salt 1tsp pepper (adjust to taste) 3pieces bread slices soaked in water, squeezed and crumbed Sauce 1tsp maida tsp mustard powder 1tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1tbsp tomato sauce 1tsp chilli sauce

Wash the keema and squeeze it well. Mix all ingredients given under the loaf. Mix very well. Grease the dish. Put keema in it &smoothen the top with your fingertips. Cover. Micro high for 10 minutes. Pour out the juice into a small bowl. Overturn loaf on to a plate. To the juices, add all ingredients given under sauce. Mix well so that no lumps remain. Pour the sauce over the loaf so as to cover it completely. Micro high uncovered at 50%

Tandoori Fish

1Pomfret 500gms. 1Lemon cup Dahi 1Egg yolk 1tbsp Cream 2tbs Ginger, Garlic Paste. tspn Ajwain 2tspn Besan Salt, Pepper Red Chillies to taste tspn Haldi Powder Some melted butter Chat masala

Clean & wash the fish and cut into big pieces. Rub the Lemon and Salt. Set aside for 30 minutes. Mix all ingredients except butter. Marinate the fish for 3 hrs. Cook the fish on wine rack on convection, combi five minutes, per side. Put a plate underneath to catch drippings. Put Lemon juice and Chat Masala and serve Hot.

Besan Halwa
Ingredients

1 Cup besan 1 Cup milk 1/2 Cup Ghee 1/2 Tea spoon Ilaichi powder

Method

Mix all. Micro high 10 minutes stirring every 3 minutes. Mix 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 tea spoon Ilaichi powder. Microwave High for 4 minutes. Mix with Besan mixture. Microwave High 4 minutes uncovered.

Bread Pudding
Ingredients

2 Pieces bread 2 Cups milk 2 Eggs 3/4 Cups sugar 1/2 Cup raisins 1 Tea spoon vanilla 2 Tea spoon butter

Method

Mix sugar, butter, vanilla in hot milk. Add crumbled bread. Cool. Beat eggs separately. Mix kishmish. Fold in the above mixture in eggs. Microwave high for 5 minutes. Sppn any jam on the top. Microwave high for 1 minute.

Mix 1st five ingredients. Add Milk, Oil and Vanilla. Mix till Smooth. Stir in Nuts. Pour into Dish. Mix together Sugar, cup Cocoa, sprinkle over batter. M.H. 5 minutes. Pour entire hot water over the dish. Standing time 15 minutes. Serve with ice cream.

Date Pudding

3 Eggs- slightely beaten 3/4cup Sugar 1/4cup Maida 1tsp Baking Powder 1/4tsp Salt 1cup Dates-chopped 1cup Walnuts-choppe

Mix sugar with eggs, blend it well. Mix maida, baking powder & salt. Fold in dates & walnuts. Micro high for 5 minutes. Cool. Cut into pieces and serve with ice cream.

Ghia Kheer
Ingredients

2cup Ghia (lauki) grated 1cup Milk 1cup Cream 1cup Sugar 4 Ilaichi-powdered Pista, Cashew, Almonds (All shredded for garnishing)
Method

Grate ghia. Squeeze out the water. Add milk, cream & ilaichi powder. Micro high for 10 minutes. Mix sugar. Again micro high for 10 minutes. Uncovered, both the times. Standing time 10 minutes. Garnish with dry fruits.

VARIATIONS
You can use halwa kadu (sitaphal) instead of ghia. It is healthy, tasty and easy to digest.

Ingredients

1cup Sooji (browned in karahi) 1cup Sugar 3cup Water 2tbsp Oil

Kalakand

1Tin Condensed milk 6tbsp Powder milk 2tbsp Curd 2tsp Desi ghee 1/4tsp 10pcs Green ilaichi powder Badam

Mix all ingredients. Micro high for 2 minutes. Stir & cook for another 2 minutes. Garnished with chopped badams. Cut into pieces after 5 minutes.

Phirni

4 cups Milk 1 cup Sugar 1 tsp essence ( Rose, Almond, Kesar ) tsp Ilaichi powder Cup rice soaked & ground Badam, Pista, Kishmish.

Boil Milk & Sugar. Stir in rice (ground). M.H. 2 minutes. Reduce powder to 75 % and cook for 5 minutes stirring half way. Stand for 4 to 5 minutes. Mix some almonds, raisins. Pour into serving bowl. Garnish with remaining Badam, Pista & Kishmish. Serve chilled.

Banana Nut Cake


1/3 cup oil 1 cup maida 1 sugar (powdered) 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda tsp salt cup ripe mashed bananas cup dahi 3 eggs cup chopped walnuts

Add dry ingredients to oil. Add banana pulp and half of dahi. Mix well. Add remaining dahi and eggs. Beat again. Fold in half nuts. Micro high minutes. Garnish with nuts.

Quick Mix Cake


1/3cup Oil 1cup Maida 3/4cup Sugar 2tsp Baking powder 1/2tsp Salt Eggs 1cup Milk 1tsp Vanilla essence 4tsp Cocoa Mix together maida, Half cup sugar, baking powder, chocolate and salt. Add oil, milk and vanilla. Beat satin smooth. Beat egg till thick and light. Add remaining sugar beating constantly. Fold egg mixture into beater. MH 5 mts. Cool for icing.
