RESUMO
ABTSTRACT
This studyis inserted in the area of logistics and is about the performance and efficiency of the
inventory management model of agricultural inputs stocks, having a tobacco production and
processing company as a basis for analysis. The study highlights the importance of the integrated
logistics system to reduce excessive stocks of inputs. The main objective of this research is to
evaluate the feasibility of implementing a system of simultaneous input distribution and tobacco
collection through integrated logistics. As specific objectives, the study seeks to develop a logistic plan
that optimizes the loading schedule in order to reduce the cost of transportation and also a plan to
integrate with inputs suppliers, for the delivery of inputs according to the distributions schedule to the
growers. To develop the research a historical analysis on the topic was initially carried out through
literature survey sin order to better understand the processes of management an dinventory control.
The methodology usedin the study also in cludes systematic data surveys, where the quality and
quantity of inventory is examined. The causes of volatility in the stock control an dremaining excesses
were clear ed through the study and the application of the Ishikawa Diagram. The results presented
indicate that the company needs coordinated actions that allow, inreal-time, a more efficient inventory
control. In this sense, the deployment of the MRP materials planning is suggested for the organization
under study to achieve success in its inventory management through integrated logistics.
