NINE NOVENAS

NUMBER 1 NOVENA TO GOD THE FATHER

(pray for 9 days or 9 hours straight) God, my heavenly Father, I adore You, and I count myself as nothing before Your Divine Majesty. You alone are Being, Life, Truth, and Goodness. Helpless and unworthy as I AM, I honor You, I praise You, I thank You, and I love You in union with Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Savior and our Brother, in the merciful kindness of His Heart and through His infinite merits. I desire to serve You, to please You, to obey You, and to love You always in union with Mary Immaculate, Mother of God and our Mother. I also desire to love and serve my neighbour for the love of You. Heavenly Father, thank You for making me Your child in Baptism. With childlike confidence I ask You for this special favour: (state your specific request or intention here!) I ask that Your Will may be done. Give me what You know to be best for my soul, and for the souls of those for whom I pray. Give me Your Holy Spirit to enlighten me, to correct me, and to guide me in the way of Your commandments and holiness, while I strive for the happiness of heaven where I hope to glorify You forever. NUMBER 2 NOVENA TO THE RISEN JESUS

(pray for 9 days or 9 hours straight) JESUS, I believe that by Your own power You rose from death, as You promised, a glorious Victor. May this mystery strengthen my hope in another and better life after death, the resurrection of my body on the last day, and an eternity of happiness. I firmly hope that You will raise me up glorified. Through Your glorious Resurrection, I hope that You will make my body like Your own in glory and life, and permit me to dwell with You in heaven for all eternity. I believe that Your Resurrection is the crown of Your life and work as God-Man, because it is Your glorification. This is the beginning of the glorious life that was due to You as the Son of God. Your Resurrection is also the reward of Your life of suffering. Jesus, my Risen Lord and King, I adore Your Sacred Humanity which receives this eternal Kingdom of honor, power, joy and glory. I rejoice with You, my Master, glorious, immortal, and all-powerful. Through the glorious mystery of Your Resurrection, I ask You to help me to rise with You spiritually and to live a life free from sin, that I may be bent upon doing God's will in all things, and may be patient in suffering. Through the Sacraments, may my soul be enriched ever more with sanctifying grace, the source of Divine life. NUMBER 3 CONFIDENCE TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS NOVENA - EXAMPLE 1

(pray for 9 days or 9 hours straight) Oh Lord Jesus Christ, to Your most Sacred Heart I confide this intention (state your specific request or intention here!). Only look upon me, then do what Your love inspires. Let Your Sacred Heart decide . . . I count on You . . . I trust in You . . . I throw myself on Your mercy. Lord Jesus, You will not fail me. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You. Sacred Heart of Jesus. I believe in Your love for me. Sacred Heart of Jesus, Your kingdom come. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I have asked You for many favors, but I earnestly implore this one. Take it, place it in Your open Heart. When the Eternal Father looks upon it, He will see it covered with Your Precious Blood. It will be no longer my prayer, but Yours, Jesus. Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in You. Let me not be disappointed. Amen

NUMBER 4 SACRED HEART OF JESUS NOVENA - EXAMPLE 2

(pray for 9 days or 9 hours straight) Divine Jesus, You have said, "Ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you." Behold me kneeling at Your feet, filled with a lively faith and confidence in the promises dictated by Your Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary. I come to ask this favor: (state your specific request or intention here!) To whom can I turn if not to You, Whose Heart is the source of all graces and merits? Where should I seek if not in the treasure which contains all the riches of Your kindness and mercy? Where should I knock if not at the door through which God gives Himself to me and through which I go to God? I have recourse to You, Heart of Jesus. In You I find consolation when afflicted, protection when persecuted, strength when burdened with trials, and light in doubt and darkness. Dear Jesus, I firmly believe that You can grant me the grace I implore, even though it should require a miracle. You have only to will it and my prayer will be granted. I admit that I am most unworthy of Your favors, but this is not a reason for me to be discouraged. You are the God of mercy, and You will not refuse a contrite heart. Cast upon me a look of mercy, I beg of You, and Your kind Heart will find in my miseries and weakness a reason for granting my prayer. Sacred Heart, whatever may be Your decision with regard to my request, I will never stop adoring, loving, praising, and serving You. My Jesus, be pleased to accept this my act of perfect resignation to the decrees of Your adorable Heart, which I sincerely desire may be fulfilled in and by me and all Your creatures forever. Grant me the grace for which I humbly implore You through the Immaculate Heart of Your most sorrowful Mother. You entrusted me to her as her child, and her prayers are all-powerful with You. Amen.

NUMBER 5 Divine Mercy Novena

I fly to Your Mercy, Compassionate God, Who alone are good. Although my misery is great and my offenses are many, I trust in Your Mercy because You are the God of Mercy, and it has never been heard of in all ages, nor do Heaven or Earth remember, that a soul trusting in Your Mercy has been disappointed. (State your need here...) Jesus, Friend of a lonely heart, You are my haven. You are my peace. You are my salvation. You are my serenity in moments of struggle and amidst an ocean of doubts. Amen.

NUMBER 6 INFANT BABY JESUS OF PRAGUE NOVENA

aka The Storm Novena or The Flying Novena (pray for 9 days or 9 hours straight) Jesus, You said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you." Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I knock, I seek. I ask that my prayer be granted. (state your specific request or intention here!) Jesus, You said, "All that you ask of the Father in My name, He will grant you." Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask Your Father in Your name that my prayer be granted. (state your specific request or intention here!) Jesus, You said. "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass." Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted. (state your specific request or intention here!) I prostrate myself before Thy Holy Image, O most gracious Infant Jesus, to offer thee my most fervent thanks for the blessings Thou hast bestowed upon me. I shall incessantly praise Thine ineffable mercy and confess that Thou alone art my God, my Helper and my Protector. Henceforth, my entire confidence shall be placed in Thee! Everywhere, I shall proclaim aloud Thy mercy and generosity, so that Thy great Love and the great deeds which Thou dost perform through this miraculous image may be acknowledged by all. May devotion to Thy Holy Infancy increase more and more in the hearts of all Christians, and may all who experience Thine assistance persevere with me in showing unceasing gratitude to Thy Most Holy Infancy, to which be praise and glory forever. Amen Thank you, Infant Baby Jesus of Prague and the Sacred Heart of Jesus for granting my request. I will always be dedicated to You Dear Jesus and have faith that You will always be by my side. N.B.
This Novena is also known as The Storm Novena or The Flying Novena. This is because you are "storming the heavens" with your prayers. When you use this Novena as a "Storm Novena" then you should say this Novena for 9 consecutive hours. So you would be reciting the Novena at the top of each hour for 9 consecutive hoursThis Novena does state, "Everywhere, I shall proclaim aloud Thy mercy and generosity, so that Thy great Love and the great deeds which Thou dost perform through this miraculous image may be acknowledged by all."tell everyone about this Novena Keep in mind this Novena should be used for absolutely any urgent need.

NUMBER 7 SACRED HEART OF JESUS NOVENA - EXAMPLE 3

(pray 9X/day for 9 days or 9X/day for 9 hours straight) May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be praised, adored and glorified now and forever. Sacred Heart of Jesus, I put my trust in you. Holy Mary, mother of Jesus, pray for me. St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, pray for me. St. Jude of Hopeless cases, pray for me and grant this favour I ask. (state your specific request or intention here!) Amen. N.B. This is a very powerful Novena. It's a small, yet powerful Novena. Have Faith and watch it miracles for you. (To be said 9 times a day for 9 days and promise to publish it for others to use. Never been known to fail.)

NUMBER 8 PRAYER TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

(pray for 3 days or 3 hours straight) Holy Spirit, You who make me see everything and showed me the way to reach my ideals, You who gave me the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and You who are in all instances of my life with me, I want to thank You for everything and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You no matter how great the material desire may be. I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory. Amen In Jesus Christ, your Son's name, I ask that you grant me (State your specific request or intention here!) While making the request, you must promise either: (a) To publish this prayer or (b) To circulate the favour This prayer should be said for 3 consecutive days. After the 3rd day, the request will be granted, no matter how difficult it may be.
