The Youth Center is now accepting registration for pre-teens ages 10 - 12 years old for our Pre-Teen Saturdays. Proof of age is required. We have a computer lab, educational programs, a pool table, gaming systems, board games, music and much more. The hours of operation will be 1000 - 1400 every Saturday. Sign-up your family for this fun and creative holiday outing. Everyone will receive a free pumpkin to decorate and dress up for the Halloween season, and our pumpkin decorating contest. Your pumpkins will be judged at the Library throughout the month of October for by anyone who visits the Library. Winner will be showcased in the November newsletter. The Teen Center will be offering free transportation to all Belle Chasse High School games. Ages 13 - 18

Fall Soccer...This year fall soccer will be a 4 week mini session. Games will be held on Saturdays. The registration fee is $35.00 per child. Start Date: October 15th. End Date: November 5th. Start Smart Soccer...Start Smart is a developmentally appropriate introductory soccer program for children 3-4 years old. This program prepares children for organized soccer in a fun not-threatening environment. The cost is $50.00 per child which includes the participant kit. The kit includes (1) participant manual, (1) teslon soccer ball, (1) size 3 soccer ball, (1) set of shin guards, and (4) cones. For more information, please call 678-3310.

Immunization Schedules
Usually immunization schedules are set up by your veterinarian to correspond with local requirements or conditions that exist in your area. Please bear in mind that the distemper vaccine (killed virus) may cause a temporary lack of olfactory sensitivity in your dog. Your dog should probably be rested for 24 hours after the vaccines are administered. Currently, the following vaccines are administered on a yearly schedule: distemper, rabies, and bordatella.
