BEER AND WINE TASTING: The Nations sports drink of choicebeer! Learn about the history and making of both products that go so well together. Find out how the flavours in beer match with the taste of the biltong and explore the best combinations. Let Oliver Meckler our beer expert guide you through this fun and informational tasting.

BEER BREWING: Brew your own beer! Learn about the technology of brewing, taste different beer style and decide on the type of beer you will be brewing. The group gets split up in 5 teams and every team receives the two tasks they have to perform during the brewing day. First you will prepare the brewing. Once everything is working we settle down to the brewers breakfast with German sausages and pretzels and off course a beer. Once the last step has been performed we leave the beer to ferment and mature.

WINE BLENDING: In this experience we will take your group through the wine making process in a quaint yet professional home based cellar. The group will blend their own wine under the supervision of William Everson. Each delegate will have the option to either have their blend bottled or have one of Williamss limited bottles of wine. A Leisurely lunch is served on the premises while everyone relaxes and enjoys the fruits of their labour

THEMED COOKING: Tantalise your taste buds with a themed cooking experience. Teams create their own meal based on a chosen theme. For excitement an element can be added where groups are also responsible for the dcor and themed table settings. Themes to consider include Christmas Feast or Cheeky Christmas, Mexican Fiesta, Hawaiian Hula, African Fusion, Voortrekkers.

CELEBRITY CHEFS: Spice up your culinary experience by including a Celebrity Chef as host for your special evening. Our favourites include David Grier (who recently ran the entire length of the Great Wall of China) or Katinka van Niekerk (celebrity chef and sister of Pik Botha) with her eccentric sense of humour. This evening will be filled with entertainment not to be forgotten soon Bon Apptit!

FANTASTIC RACING: This day is undoubtedly about speed and exhilaration. This adrenalin fuelled experience is quite unforgettable! Its an affair with all things with wheels. Try your luck in racing your friends and colleagues in one of these speedy vehicles. This day is hosted at the Killarney race tracks in Cape Town.

ADVANCED DRIVING: This is an affair with all things with wheels. This day is hosted at the Killarney race tracks in Cape Town. The focus of the day will be on the participation and enjoyment of the group in either a self drive or chauffeured drive around the track with a professional racing driver in high performance vehicles. Gymkhana; Skid pan or speeding around the track its all serious fun.

4x4 DAY: Take part in this fun day out with your team or friends. Our professional vehicles and instructors will take you on an adventure through the Western Cape like you have never experienced before. Refreshments and drinks in the car and you at the wheel of these beastly vehicles. The experience from this day will come in handy for future driving endeavours. Certified driving instruction can be arranged. Treasure hunts and themed races can be built around this day. GRAVEL KARTS: Schumacher eat my dust Don your helmet and climb behind the steering of these great little karts called Xumbugs and contribute to your teams success. This is a time trial race on a flat gravel track where each team needs to complete their race in a set time. Each driver will need to complete a set number of laps as their contribution to their teams race. Its safe, its outdoors and yes you will probably get dirty!

HUNTING/OUTDOOR TRIP: Connect with your friends and colleagues while enjoying the beautiful nature around you. During the day there will be time for leisurely walks in the veldt, exciting 4x4 trails, admiring the Khoi and San rock art, fishing, hunting and amazingly clear star gazing at night. Experience game drives seeing Kudu, Springbok, Eland, Oryx, Black Wildebeest and many more! We are able to provide half day bird hunting trips in the Wielands.

CAMEL ADVENTURE: Survival is as instinctive as competition is The camel adventure is a great way of challenging and developing teams. The goal of this adventure is for teams to succeed at various challenges, which have been pre-determined by our instructors. The delegates will form teams who will than have to complete a series of challenges. Each challenge will be a reward challenge where the team will earn score. The day will end with a great prize giving for the best team as well as for the funniest or most positive person of the day.

DANCING WITH TIGERS: Get kitted out with wetsuits, flippers, snorkels and masks and dive into the water with these tiger sharks! There will be a professional photographer to capture this amazing experience on film!

COOKING WITH DAVID GRIER: Be part of this interactive and entertaining cooking experience where team members will not only create a fantastic meal, but will also be able to learn the subtle dynamics of teamwork while having fun! You will be hosted by renouned chef, adventurer and motivational speaker David Grier!

SAILING EXPERIENCE: Enjoy this experience to the full by being involved in helping our skipper and crew to safely and comfortably sail an ocean going yacht. Otherwise you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride and the amazing views.

IN COLONIAL FOOTSTEPS THROUGH THE KAROO: Embark on an epic adventure trans-Karoo destination Maaitjiesfontein. This journey will give you time to relax and interact with your friends and colleagues. You will arrive at the Lord Milner Hotel and learn about its history. Later, relax on the beautiful lawns outside for a true Colonial style dinner BBQ under the blanket of Karoo stars. A brandy tasting will be presented and there will also be a chance to view the stars through high tech canon sized telescopes.

TABLE MOUNTAIN SUNSET COCKTAILS: Watch the sun set over Camps Bay and the twinkling lights of the Mother City. Sit and linger over one of our special cocktails while looking out over the bay and Robben Island. The Cableway Cocktail Bar is situated above the top cableway station. Enjoy the view from a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the City Bowl and Camps Bay.

CAPE TOWN ADVENTURE: Enjoy this adventure in Cape Town including activities such as; a cable car ride up Table Mountain, whitewater rafting, a ride on a Harley Davidson as well as shark cage diving. This is an experience not be to forgotten!

FLY FISHING AND PICNIC: The group will master the basic techniques of the art of fly fishing under the private instruction of experienced fly fishermen. There is truly something romantic about this experience. Set on the banks of some of the most exquisite locations in the Western Cape, youll find this day both relaxing and stimulating. Your group will arrive to be greeted by coffees and pastries before embarking on their fishing adventure. CAPE POINT EXPLORATION: This fantastic journey takes you to the tip of the African Continent, to Cape Point. You will be transported on a magical journey; half the group in the back of overland vehicles and the other half on the back of Harley Davidsons to The Cape Of Good Hope Nature Reserve Cape Point. From Cape Town the 40km (24.8 miles) drive to Cape Point exposes the vibrantly coloured landscape that mysteriously invites visitors to the spectacular views at the peninsula's edge. You will visit Kalkbay, Boulders beach and the Naval Museum among other activities throughout the day.

WEST COAST ADVENTURE: Enjoy a day out on the West Coast and a night stay over at the very special Strandkombuis B&B and restaurant. There are 3 activities to be enjoyed during the day: 4x4 dune driving, quad bike ride and sand dune surfing. After a day of activities enjoy a delicious lunch followed by some down time-a walk on the beautiful beach perhaps. Your group rendezvous late afternoon to head out to Club Mykonos for a majestic sunset cruise and braai dinner on the Tropic catamaran. You will depart the next morning after a leisurely breakfast.

BELOW THE SURFACE: Come and explore one of the water sources feeding the early Cape settlement. These sources, located beneath the Castle of Good Hope, have been forgotten over the past centuries and now form part of the underground water catchment system of the mother city. We not only explore but discuss how life must have been and the development of water technology in the city. We have a poke at history and why water in our day and age still runs into the ocean.

INTERACTIVE CRAFT MARKET: Come and learn the skill of a true African Art! An empty market will be created in which you choose the stall you are most interested in learning the skill of. These include; beadwork, wire art and tin cutting art, wooden and stone carvings, traditional candle and wax making, traditional toy making, African games and more! There will also be various food stalls from which you can taste.

AMAZING RACE: (Themed) The element of surprise, adventure, timings and the unknown makes this activity an option that will be remembered. There are very cool themes for this activity including 007, Austin Powers, Da Vinci Code etc. With plenty of WOW factors included, this racy event will constantly surprise and entertain your team! Go on the race is on!

QUAD, CHEESE AND WIINE: Experience the beauty of the Cape Winelands or Grabouw vistas on quad bikes or horseback, followed by a hearty lunch of locally produced breads, cheeses and wines... Your day kicks off with a scenic quad bike or horse back ride for an hour and a half. The ride will take the group over undulating terrain providing some adventure in a safe controlled environment where the scenery will be well worth the journey. The adventure will end with a gourmet (but hearty) cheese and wine tasting for lunch.

DRAGON BOAT RACE: On your marks, get set, GO! Dragon boats are traditionally long slim boats, and made from teakwood racers with a hand-painted dragon's head at the prow and a flashy tail at the stern. Decorated in brilliant Chinese colours, each boat holds a crew of 20 sitting side by side, a steers person at the rudder and a drummer whose beat sets the pace for the crew. Dragon boat racing is a unique challenge and requires coordinated team effort to be successful.

OLYMPICS DAY: Teams compete in a fun version of the Olympic Games. The games will see teams rotating through exciting challenges, earning score and working towards a final showdown challenge. The days challenges are all team challenges and will require everyones involvement; such as shot put, egg and spoon, horse shoe throw and blow pipe target shoot. The day will conclude with a tug of war competition which will award teams bonus points before prizes are handed out.

TEN PIN BOWLING: Put on those soft shoes and lets get bowling! Take on your team mates and see who can strike it lucky with their fast and accurate bowling. A day out for the young at heart, this is a fun and exciting event that youll be talking about afterwards. Lunch is served either during or after the tournament, and to wind up the experience, participants are presented with gift CDs of photographs taken during the day.

THEATRE OF MAGIC: We all find ourselves frustrated at how Magicians effects work and how they do the things they do. Here is a practical method to find out how these effects work with the added benefit of team building outcomes. Enjoy a fun day experimenting with illusionist and comedian Russell Fox.

ACTIVITY DAY and PICNIC: This day offers your group a time out in the country, relaxing in the shade of the willows, setting off on a horse-back outride, tackling a quad bike trail, trying your hand at clay pigeon shooting or even croquet. The objective of the day is to provide the group with a space to relax and interact at a pace that THEY select, the day is structured to provide a selection of challenging fun and very enjoyable activities. While working together in a team, your group will become a solid unit throughout the games and activities and trust will be earned by each member within the group! CARNIVAL/FAMILY DAY: As the proverbial saying goes The sweet aint that sweet without the bitter and so the same goes for fun and games that they just arent that fun without a bit of competition. Add a farm style carnival games feel on a beautiful estate and voila we have a recipe for laughter and prizes. A series of traditional activities set out at an appropriate venue will see teams being entertained in a series of hysterically entertaining games. The activities area guaranteed to be fun and competitive yet rewarding and insightful. MOVIE MAKER: Lights, cameras, ACTION! The group is split into teams who work together on film synopsis and movie scripts, tailoring these to cleverly incorporate the groups conference and company objectives. Bring the glamour of tinsel town to the heart of your event by picking up video cameras, writing, producing and enacting your own versions of all-time movie classics. Then bask in glory as your efforts hit the silver screen and you are called to accept your award.

DA VINCI CODE: The Da Vinci Code Challenge is designed to challenge your intellect, resourcefulness and competitive spirit. Working in teams, you will work together to crack a series of clues designed around a specific area. You do not need to have seen the film or read the book; an interest and knowledge in puzzles and codes will be a definite advantage. You'll take an irreverent walking tour (or driving) through the nooks and crannies of your host location, seeing fascinating sights even the locals would miss. Each puzzle or cryptic clue will lead to the next stop.

007 SPY RACE: The element of surprise, adventure, timings and the unknown makes this activity an option that will be remembered for years to come. Select your own identity 007, M14, Scorpions or even the FBI! With plenty of WOW factors included, this racy event will constantly surprise and entertain your team! The race is on!

Invite other divisions within your company or the rivals from next door to compete in a light-hearted fun day! Alternatively - why not split into your own teams and create some excitement through an inter-company challenge!

EGG SUPER HIGHWAY: Your team has been selected to perform a most delicate, though important, task of transporting fragile cargo which is of great importance to the survival of your tribe. The aim for this activity is for the team to work together in building a structure in line with the provided specifications and to transport your cargo along this structure. Working together, and with great caution, will end in success and immense satisfaction for your hard work of this task.

PARACHUTE SIMULATION - EGG DROP: There is a crucial item needing to be delivered safely to a very needy group. Your team are among a few teams who have been assigned the task to design and demonstrate what this product could potentially be. Design it then demonstrate it. The analogies that can be drawn from this challenge are many. The deliverables will be tied in with your groups desired outcomes. This activity is fast, fun and really creative. Participants will have to work well as a team, co-ordinating efforts to engineer and deliver a successful product. PAPARAZZI PHENOMENA: Say cheese! Paparazzi Phenomena is the result of words and images converging in the hands of bright minds. This treasure hunt of words and sayings, of seemingly pointless phrases exposes a creative story through lively images. The group split into teams or Paparazzi squads hit the streets to capture on film and expose the results of their instructions.

ROCKET CHALLENGE: Find out who the rocket scientists in your team are! This opportunity to build and fire a rocket is one in which every member of your team plays a vital role. You may not be sending a man to the moon, but youll have a lot of fun trying to get your rocket to launch... Each team will receive an event pack containing the materials and tools required to design, construct, decorate and launch their rocket. T-5, 4, 3, 2, 1, lift off!

SURVIVOR: Embark on an adventure that draws its inspiration from the hot reality TV series Survivor. Your group will face a series of clever immunity and reward challenges that are hand-picked. Plenty of twists and turns culminate in a tribal council aimed at selecting a winner based not only upon team performance, but equally importantly, how they have played the game. The tribe has spoken!

SUIKERKASKENADES: Come together with your team for a different kind of day filled with laughter and fun. Similar to our Carnival day, Suikerkaskenades will include more traditional and light competitive games such as Sack racing, Chopstick challenge, Three-legged soccer and much more! Smaller teams will hash it out against each other to walk away with the bragging rights as Suikerkaskenades Champions! An alternative to this day can be our OLYMPICS day (winter olympics, beach olympics and more!). INFLATABLE DAY: Long before there were motorised games or even motor cars for that matter the people of the land would come together for a fun day of home made games. Suikerkaskenades is an exciting day incorporating various fun lawn and water games. We add a twist to the program with our inflatable structures.

RSVP AND COOK OFF: Why not invite someone special to enjoy what your team has cooked? It might be another department, your top clients, the senior management team or even your partners! Anyone youd like to treat and show just how much you appreciate them. Your dinner guests simply arrive about 2 hours after you to see you finish off the cooking and then enjoy the meal together. Trust us; theyll be impressed by your cooking prowess! Another option is to incorporate a competitive element and discover who the best chef-teams are! BAMBOO TOWERS: Work together with your team to build a tower using only bamboo sticks and a few tools. Team mates will come together and use their individual skills and ideas to construct a bamboo tower. Something that starts individual will come out to be very important in the whole. The collaboration keeps growing and by joining forces and talents something unbelievably big can arise.

FASHION FIASCO: Glitz, glam and the catwalk! The ever-changing world of high fashion takes your team on a creative journey as you become your very own "Fashion House". Delegates will design, manufacture and then present a range of both practical and ORGANIC fashion creations. Aside from the given materials, the group will have to make use of materials from the Natural environment and explore their Green tendencies. This day offers lots of laughs, opportunities for creativity and some unique parallels with your own team and business challenges.

OUTWIT, OUTLAST: Tap into the reality TV genre Survivor (without the distasteful bugs and discomfort) within the surrounds of your venue. Your tasks will be hand picked to mirror your selected dynamics and themes to be addressed, whether fun or strategic in nature. Plenty of twists and turns culminate in selecting a winner based not only upon team performance, but equally importantly, how they have played the game.

BAREFOOT BOWLING: Why not arrange a bowling challenge between divisions, colleagues or even clients on the beautiful Bowling Green! This sport which is often seen as an individual sport, forms the perfect foundation for a relaxed, fun and interactive day outside! Imagine the braai fires going whilst teams roll it out to become the best bowling team! Something different and NOT for the old folks only, as you will experience on the day!

BEACH OLYMPICS: Each team will create a team identity. These teams compete on the beach in a fun version of the world famous Olympic games. The games see teams rotating through exciting challenges, earning points, and working towards a giant final showdown. Success is reliant on great teamwork, lots of creativity, and thinking outside your usual box! Who will take home the coveted laurels?

ART ADVENTURE: Teams will have to co-ordinate their efforts in creating a giant work of art on various canvasses. Artistic skills or mathematical precision or a bit of both might be needed to create the perfect artwork. With a 'big picture' approach teams will need to interact to have success. It's about sharing and communicating, making sure that each section fits perfectly with those that adjoin it. The delegates will create something to be proud of and they will have all played an active role in its creation. The final product can hang in the office as testimony to the harmony (or competitive natures) in which the teams worked. A great year-end option is to create a 12-month 2009 calendar with 12 individual artworks! I really believe deep in my soul that we're going to have to step up and face these challenges and be tough and pull together and unify and be creative and be willing to sacrifice. Zach Wamp

COMMUNITY INITIATIVES
Why not take part in a programme that will involve the local community and at the same time benefit your team? Our tailored programmes include food gardens, renovation projects and sport projects involving the local communities.

BIKES FOR TYKES: Build a bike and change a life! This experience can be combined with a treasure-hunt type programme during which various bike parts will be found, or simply a stand-alone activity with a lunch/dinner. Plenty of fun, hard work and mechanical challenges will form part of it! Delegates will have to work together to build a dismantled bike. We will have an expert on standby to give a hand! Add more challenge by adding an element where delegates have to budget and bid for their bike-parts. The bikes can be donated to a community or organisation which will distribute them where needed. SOCCER COACHING: Laduma! The aim of this community project is to develop a sense of outreach to youth. It will allow the youth of local communities to participate in the soccer training which you will coach. This will provide the participants with a basic foundation and support structure they would otherwise not have. The project lends itself to a safe and fun environment where youth can learn and be kept off the streets. This project will take place at schools in Grassy Park and Ottery areas, and in some cases can be done at your location. TREE PLANTING: Its all about being green! Do your part in protecting the environment by planting trees. You will receive a pack including trees, spades and instructions and you will be on your way to helping our environment. FOOD GARDEN: Food Garden Projects are a radical approach to food production and urban renewal by creating a rich and sustainable way of living. That in turn produces more energy than it uses and recycles all nutrients and waste. This project will take place in Community Schools and within a chosen community. Your team will be involved with the creating of or maintaining of a garden within a chosen community. So, whos got green fingers? RENOVATION GENERATION: Transforming your team into a working task team. We set out to renovate a place in need to reflect and inspire the hope that is latent within us all. We assist with the selection of a suitable venue; manage the procurement of necessary equipment; and facilitate the days execution taking into consideration safety, meals and transport. MURDER MYSTERY DINNER: Murder mystery dinner party caters for a memorable evening of mayhem, mystery and mischief, heaped with good old fashioned fun! An ideal experience of 'level the playing fields' for corporate team-building. Each delegate receives a character profile. Arriving at the dinner dressed in costume each guest takes on the persona of their character. Seated at the dinner table together they unravel a murder mystery to discover who the culprit is! It is preferable to have an equal number of male vs. female. However, cases of "cross dressing" have often produced the most hilarious as well as memorable moments.

THEMED DINNER: Spice up your year-end dinner and add a theme to it! Guests will experience a build up prior to the evening thatll contribute to the excitement. Having a themed dinner will set an informal tone and guests will truly be able to relax. Examples of themes include; Pricilla Queen of the Desert; Austin Powers; Rock n Roll; Red & Green; Witches & Vicars; Casino; Underwater Experience and many more!!

DINNER WITH A CELEBRITY: Enjoy a social evening with a celebrity as host, or alternatively a number of celebrities roaming through the room and spending time with each table! Our favourites include David Grier, sharing his inspirational slide show and stories of running the entire Great Wall of China! You choose the celebrity and well make the dinner happen.

DINNER IN DARKNESS: Your first bite isnt with your eyes, as you wont be able to see anything. Choose between Dinner in Darkness where you will be hosted and served by partially blind waiters (in complete darkness), or the Dark Dining experience (as pictured here) where delegates will each don featherweight blindfolds for the duration for the meal. While you surrender to the dark side, a team of attentive servers will help you find your fork, your wine and when you raise your hand your way to the bathroom! How many times have you ever had the chance to talk to people without any preconception that sight affords?

DINNER IN THE PARK: Set in the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens you will be spoiled to an exclusive evening under the stars while a local band entertains and the gastro magicians entice you to relax and mingle. You will be able to take guided tours through the gardens on high tech vehicles called segways. There will also be the galaxy observers with their powerful telescopes. Here you will be able to enjoy a close up look at the moon and her celestial siblings.

LOURENSFORD CELLAR DINNER: Lourensford is an estate to feast your senses. Steeped in history and heritage, the estate also boasts an ultra-modern winery utilising technology unique in the Southern Hemisphere. Its in this very unique and exclusive cellar that a dinner will be created combining technology with the cellars existing features. The dinner in the Lourensford cellar is a complete sensory journey.

RED CARPET SOCIAL EVENT: Come and enjoy an evening at Groote Schuur Estate including a high class entertaining dinner function. This will be a different and unique experience. You can enjoy bubbly and canaps with a local marimba band adding their magic to the moment!

They will then proceed to an area where various stargazing equipment will be set up for them to enjoy the beautiful constellations with experts telling them what to look out for!
