Spinning
Loyal Textile Mills Ltd has four spinning mills located at Kovilpatti, Sattur, Arasanur and Naidupet (Andhra Pradesh) having around 160,000 ring spindles and 4,800 rotors, with state -of-the-art machineries with auto doffers and link coners from Rieter, Truetschler, Marzoli, Electrojet, Elite Suessen, LMW (Model LR9/AXL), Muratec (Vortex Spinning), KTTM (Auto Doff Ring frames), Toyota, Oerlikon Schlafhorst (OE Rotor Spinning BD 416 and auto coner X 5 type V/28), PreciFX Plus, Murata and Savio with contamination clearers. Besides this, the spinning divisions of Loyal Group use advanced testing instruments of USTER and PREMIER iQ2 LX make for testing raw materials, sliver, roving and yarn for all critical parameters, including hairiness index. It extensively uses imported cotton from Egypt, Supima from US, Pima from Israel and also organic cotton. Cotton is checked through camera based contamination eliminators installed in blow room with polypropylene checking at two levels before feeding into cards. The annual production of yarn is more than 30,000 tons, which include the following :

Kovilpatti Unit The division has 5 spinning blocks with over 56,600 spindles and 1680 open -end rotors including Autocoro with Corolab. UNIT 1 The unit has 20,064 spindles, producing 100% combed compact yarn, counts from fine to
superfine quality. While the count range varies from 60s to 100s, the average count is 70s. Production per day is around 6,000 kgs. UNIT 2 Total spindlage is 27,744. It produces 100% combed compact yarn with the count range between 50s to 140s, while the average count is 80s. The unit provides output of 5000 kgs per day. UNIT 3 This unit has total number of 6,480 spindles, producing compact yarn and melange yarn. Count range is 30s to 40s. Production per day is 3,500 kgs. UNIT 4 The unit produces fancy yarn and specialty yarn like Kermal blend, carbon yarn, dyed fibres, etc. It has 1,776 spindles with a production capacity of 2,000 kgs of yarn per day. OE DIVISION: This division has 1,680 rotors. Count range is 6s to 20s. Production per day is around 12,0 kgs. 00
Sattur Unit
UNIT 1 The unit has 24,576 spindles and produces mainly cotton yarn for knitting, in counts is 30s and 40s. Production per day is around 10,000 kgs. (Cotton and Organic) UNIT 2 The specialized unit produces polyester cotton blended yarns mainly for knitting. It has 12,752 spindles with production capacity of 10,000 kgs per day. UNIT 3 The unit has 22,800 spindles with advanced machineries like auto doffers, link coners etc. Production per day is around 11,000 kgs with the count range between 30s and 40s (cotton and organic).
Arasanur Unit
This division has 11760 spindles and produces carded counts in the ra nge of 10s to 20s. It can produce fancy yarns like slub, multi count and multi twist. Production per day is 7000 kgs. The division has 5 Rieter Open end machines of 360 rotors each. It can produce around 10000 kgs of yarn in the count range between16s to 20s. The drawframe is the last machine in the spinning process capable of improving yarn quality. The same rate of sliver mass deviation not eliminated early in the process is later present in the yarn. This is where Rieters drawframes come onto the scene displaying clear advantages - at high delivery speeds. Delivery speed is normally around 900 m/min, but it can be increased to up to 1 000 m/min to satisfy special needs. The coarser yarns (Ne 6 - Ne 20) are produced with a single passage on the drawframe. For fi ner yarns, such as Ne 24 and Ne30, Maliber uses 2 passages on the drawframe to obtain the best possible yarn quality.
