and Students of ImprovLG: New shoes? Check. Binders? Check. Daily planner? Check. Gas tank topped off? Maybe. Getting ready for the new year is exciting but life quickly starts to take over your schedule. Maybe after only a week of school your planners are already starting to fill up with activities, sports, homework, and friends. All this it can be overwhelming. Heres a challenge: Make God a priority this year by allowing Him to be the first thing scheduled into your calendar. If you dont, its easy to think youll get to it later, but by then its too late. Lets remind and encourage each other with our All In theme from Hume Lake this past summer. When you go back and look at pictures, be reminded of the good memories, but also some of the commitments and decisions you made. Students: High school is a complicated place and were here to walk alongside of you through the craziness and help you grow in your faith so dont be afraid to call us anytime. Parents and students: We cant do this without you! Were rooting for you! And heres how well do this together: Students: September 7th Small Groups Kickoff 7pm-8:30PM Life is complicated. You dont have to go through it alone. Come connect with a small group that cares about who you are. Unpack life alongside of Scripture. Everyone is welcome. Anytime. Parents: October 5th Student Ministries Parent Meeting 7:00pm - 8:30pm This is a chance for you to see first hand what happens on Wednesday nights as well as to hear about Student Ministries and where we are headed for the year. This is also a chance for us to connect with you as parents and learn how best we can support you. ImprovLG exists to be a safe place for students to: explore and in the life and teachings of Jesus, connect with other students, and with Christ-centered leaders.
