There are hard decisions to be made in both love and war.

At some point in any campaign one must take stock of the situation at hand and determine if the losses incurred are beginning to outweigh any gains made. One must also decide whether expending any further energy is ever likely to lead to an outcome which is either favorable or even acceptable. If the answer to both queries is a clear no then it is better to salvage what is left of one's pride and retreat than suffer the indignity of total defeat and thereby run the risk of being incapable of living to fight another day due to a lack of mental acuity or physical resources. A lie is like a disease. Sadly, all of us have to go through it, either telling one, hearing one or being hurt by one. Fortunately, you can get through it, BY always TELLING THE TRUTH..! :) Forgive and forget. That's what they say. It's good advice, but it's not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores are never settled...old wounds never heal. And the most we can hope for is that one day we'll be lucky enough to forget. "She did not know the nature of her loneliness. The only words that named it were: This is not the world I expected." Sometimes you dont even know anythings changed. You think youre still you and your life is still your life, but you wake up one day and look around, and you dont recognize anything not anything at all. You can always say sorry. But the real apology is when you hear the sadness in their voice and see the look in their eyes. And you realize that they have hurt themselves just as much as they have hurt you. We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them.

I make no apologies for how I choose to repair what you broke' No matter how much of a natural you are, you have to practice and make mistakes before you become really good. We do not have to suffer to be happy. Happiness is our right, and the more we hold to that principle the more positive our lives will be. Yes, life has difficult moments. But they are all part of a fascinating journey that we have one chance to experience. Do not forgive and forget. Forgive and learn. You are most powerful when you are at peace with yourself. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." ~ Martin Luther King Jr. You cannot change things from the past. You can only recognize how they made you feel and make peace with them at your own pace. Then you will not need to change them anymore, because you will be free from them. When you are strong enough to love yourself 100%, good and bad - you will be amazed at the opportunities that life presents you. Happiness is the solace that is derived from being upon the truth, a peace of mind that is achieved by living according to sound principles, calmness that is brought about by living a life of goodness... Be beautiful, and you will find the world full of beauty. What doesnt kill u only makes you stronger.

Max: It's a kind of dinosaur. Mommy: Sophie! I know what "junk" means. It means private parts. I don't know why someone would use an awful word for that, I bet some rapper came up with that. "Generalization is necessary to the advancement of knowledge; but particularly is indispensable to the creations of the imagination. "Nothing is so galling to a people not broken in from the birth as a paternal, or in other words a meddling government, a government which tells them what to read and say and eat and drink and wear." "We must judge a government by its general tendencies and not by its happy accidents." "And how can man die better than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his Gods?" "History, is made up of the bad actions of extraordinary men and woman. All the most noted destroyers and deceivers of our species, all the founders of arbitrary governments and false religions have been extraordinary people; and

nine tenths of the calamities that have befallen the human race had no other origin than the union of high intelligence with low desires."

Comment on a Youtube video...."Why are the internet people so racist?" :P People are like cockroaches, you crush a few and the rest scatter :P I should've known it wasn't going to work out between my exgirlfriend and me. After all, I'm a Cancer and she's a bitch =D Hallmark Card: "I'm so miserable without you, it's almost like you're still here." Don't cry for a girl who has left you, the next one may fall for your smile hahaha cheesy much? :P

At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody. So this thing where we all keep our distance and pretend not to care about each other, it's usually a load of bullshit The people that are still with you at the end of the day, those are the ones worth keeping. And sure, sometimes close can be too close. But sometimes, that invasion of personal space, it can be exactly what you need. I want a man who's kind and understanding and treats me right. Is that too much to ask of a millionaire? Kinza Fatima =p Join the Army, meet interesting people, kill them :D The main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live ;) There must be more to life than having everything!!! When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked

Him to forgive me =p Money is not everything. There's MasterCard and Visa =D Never argue with an idiot 'coz he'll just drag you down to his level and beat you with experience :P Heres the truth about the truth, it hurts, so we lie. Where everybody thinks the same, no one thinks too much! Funny, I don't remember being absent minded If at first you don't succeed, call in an airstrike. - NATO Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours =D I just broke up with someone and the last thing she said to me was "You'll never find anyone like me again!" I'm thinking, "I should hope not! If I don't want you, why would I want someone like you?" =D

If it weren't for electricity we'd all be watching television by candlelight! Girls are like apples...the best ones are at the top of the trees. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples that are on the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think there is something wrong with them, when, in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree... =) Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy someone else to shoot at. A bus station is where a bus stops, A train station is where a train stops. On my desk I have a work station....need to say more? =p Many a man in love with just a dimple make the mistake of marrying the WHOLE GIRL! You can always tell when two people

are best friends because they're always having way more fun than it makes sense for them to be having. When a girl ceases to blush, she has lost the most powerful charm of her beauty. You know you're in Love when you don't wanna go to sleep at night because your life is so much more better than a dream :) *TO THE WORLD YOU MAY BE SOMEONE, BUT TO SOMEONE YOU MAY BE THE WORLD* - Anonymous "Expect the best, Prepare for the worst." M.A Jinnah "Think 100 times before you take a decision, But once that decision is taken, stand by it as one man." - M.A Jinnah "We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. the the universe." - Albert Einstein "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer." - Sun-Tzu: (400 BC; Chinese general and military strategist.) "Never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake." - Napolean Bonaparte (Military and politial leader of France and for a time ruler of much of Europe, 1769 1821) "An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile, hoping it will eat him last." - Winston Churchill (Britich politician, 1874-1965) I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life's greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. As simplistic as this may sound, it is still the common denominator separating those who live their dreams from those who live in regret. I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge; That myth is more potent than history; That dreams are more powerful than facts; That hope always triumphs over experience; That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death." There is no person in the world who is made to handle every punch thats thrown at them. We arent made that way. In fact, were made to get mad, upset, sad, be hurt, stumble and fall. We arent supposed to be able to handle everything. But thats what makes us stronger in the end, by learning from the things that hurt us most.

Our lives are not determined by what happened to us, but how we react to what happens, not by what life brings us but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results. I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together - Those who cant rise above will try their best to bring you down and trust me they are gonna succeed every time... But thats where your character shows, have you forgotten to rise at all or have you learnt to fly... My heartfelt gratitude to all those who have pushed me down sometime, apparently im flying now!!! Alhamdulillah :) So how does it happen, great love? Nobody knows... but what I can tell you is that it happens in the blink of an eye. One moment you're enjoying your life, and the next you're wondering how you ever lived without them. I believe we write our own stories. And each time we think we know the end we don't. Perhaps luck exists somewhere between the world of planning, the world of chance, and in peace that comes from knowing that you just can't know it all. You know, life's funny that way. Once you let go of the wheel, you might end up right where you belong. only you could be more important than what i wanted.. what i needed. what i want and need is to be with you and i know i'll never be strong enough to leave you again...

I know its a cornball thing, but love is passion, obsession, someone you cant live without. If you dont start with that what are you going to end up with? I say fall Head over Heels. Find someone you can LOVE LIKE CRAZY and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? forget your head and listen to your heart" A dog has no use for fancy cars, big homes, or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if your rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart and he'll give you his. How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel extraordinary? Life isn't all sunshines and rainbows. It is a mean and nasty place. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permenantly if you let it. I know what you're looking for, some sort of closure. Something to ease the pain, but closure doesn't exist. You're going to feel this in some form or another forever because that's how it feels... when you loose the love of your life. And even if you could wake up tomorrow and not feel this pain, you wouldn't really want that either. Because that hurt is the most sure reminder you have of what he truly meant to you. And that, you won't ever want to forget. We all get lost once in a while, sometimes by choice, sometimes due to forces beyond our control. When we learn what it is our soul needs to learn, the path presents itself. Sometimes we see the way out but wander further and deeper despite ourselves; the fear, the anger or the sadness preventing us returning. Sometimes we prefer to be lost and wandering, sometimes it's easier. Sometimes we find our own way out. But regardless, always, we are found. When you drop a glass or a plate to the ground it makes a loud crashing sound. When a window shatters a table leg breaks or when a picture falls off the wall it makes a noise. But as for your heart when that breaks it s completely silent. You

would think as it s so important it would make the loudest noise in the whole world or even have some ... Read Moresort of ceremonious sound like the gong of a cymbal or the ringing of a bell. But it s silent and you almost wish there was a noise to distract you from the pain. If there is a noise it s internal. It screams and no one can hear it but you. It screams so loud your ears ring and your head aches. It trashes around in your chest like a great white shark caught in the sea it roars like a mother bear whose cub has been taken. That s what it looks like and that s what it sounds like a trashing panicking trapped great big beast roaring like a prisoner to its own emotions. But that s the thing about love no one is untouchable. I believe in the magic of books. I believe that during certain periods in our lives we are drawn to particular books--whether it's strolling down the aisles of a bookshop with no idea whatsoever of what it is that we want to read and suddenly finding the most perfect, most wonderfully suitable book staring us right in the face. Unblinking. Or a chance meeting with a stranger or friend who recommends a book we would never ordinarily reach for. Books have the ability to find their own way into our lives. Our life is made up of time; our days are measured in hours, our pay measured by those hours, our knowledge is measured by years. We grab a few quick minutes in our busy day to have a coffee break. We rush back to our desks, we watch the clock, we live by appointments. And yet your time eventually runs out and you wonder in your heart of hearts if those seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years and decades were being spent the best way they possibly could. In other words, if you could change anything, would you? Life is made up of meetings and partings. People come into your life everyday, you say good morning, you say good evening, some stay for a few minutes, some stay for a few months, some a year, others a whole lifetime. No matter who it is, you meet and then you part. I'm so glad I met you Elizabeth Egan; I'll

thank my lucky stars for that. I think I wished for you all of my life" He whispered. "But now it is time for us to part. If You Could See Me Now There's no limit to what you can dream. You expect the unexpected, you believein magic, in fairy tales, and in possibilities. Then you grow older and that innocence is shattered and somewhere along the way the reality of life gets in the way and you're hit by the realization that you can't be all you wanted to be, you just might have to settle for a little bit less. "men marry because they're tired, women marry because they are curious, in the end they both are disappointed".. (Grey's anatomy)

Pietro Aretino quotes It's because we're so trapped in our culture, in the being of being human on this planet with the brains we have, and the same two arms and legs everybody has. We're so trapped that any way we could imagine to escape would be just another part of the trap. Anything we want, we're trained to want. Chuck Palahniuk quotes Our Generation has had no Great war, no Great Depression. Our war is spiritual. Our depression is our lives. Chuck Palahniuk quotes You buy furniture. You tell yourself, this is the last sofa I will ever need in my

life. Buy the sofa, then for a couple years you're satisfied that no matter what goes wrong, at least you've got your sofa issue handled. Then the right set of dishes. Then the perfect bed. The drapes. The rug. Then you're trapped in your lovely nest, and the things you used to own, now they own you. You will notice that one of your personalities is seduced by the illusions of grandeur - the gold packet of king size with a regal insignia, an attractive implication towards grandeur and wealth, the subtle suggestion that cigarettes are indeed your royal and loyal friends, and that, Pete, is a lie. Your other personality is trying to draw your attention to the flip side of the discussion, written in boring bold black and white, it's a statement that these neat little soldiers of death and in fact trying to kill you and that, Pete, is the truth. Oh, beauty is a beguiling call to death and i'm addicted to the sweet pitch of its siren. That that starts sweet ends bitter, and that which starts bitter ends sweet. And their futile reward, a word of praise from a handful of people, they win at such a cost -- so many late nights, such loss of sleep, sweetest of all things, and so much sweat and anguish... their health deteriorates, their looks are destroyed, they suffer partial or total blindness, poverty, ill-will, denial of pleasure, premature old age and early death.

You would think as it s so important it would make the loudest noise in the whole world or even have some ... Unblinking. Or a chance meeting with a stranger or friend who

recommends a book we would never ordinarily reach for. I'm so glad I met you Elizabeth Egan; I'll thank my lucky stars for that. It would sadden me if you felt it appropriate to judge or discriminate against me based on the words or opinions of another, negative or positive. But the reality is that if you choose to do so you are probably not the kind of person I want to cultivate a relationship with. I want people in my life who care to know the genuine me and who wish to base their opinions in their own truth, not in the convictions of another. Regret. A word often used by many. A lot of people tell you to live with no regrets.. Someone who has lived long enough will understand that this is at times something awfully hard to accomplish... You will eventually mess up, or blow something to s**t, and you'll sooner or later regret you had done it... The thing

is I think we really don't get the true meaning of regret at least for the people who mention it! When you read a quote saying you should live with no regrets or someone tell you that, its not in the way you should avoid regreting something at all, but instead, you should not regret it to the point that if you had another chance to do it all again you would make things different. Why? Because every thing you did, every lesson you learned, every s**t you've been through made you who you are today, and that rises above anything else, anyplace, anytime! it would sadden me if you felt it appropriate to judge or discriminate against me based on the words or opinions of another, negative or positive. But the reality is that if you choose to do so you are probably not the kind of person I want to cultivate a relationship with. I want people in my life who care to know the genuine me and who wish to base their opinions in their own truth, not in the convictions of another. Sometimes in life you got to choose what you want instead of what other people want from you. You have to push away the people in your life and focus on yourself. In general they say follow your heart but sometimes you got to use your brain a little more.
