F.1(1)Edu-4/2008 dated 27/10/2009, will be paid during the period of probation training. No other allowances will be admissible. The pay scale of the above posts shall be permitted from the date of completion of probation training period satisfactorily according to rules. New recruitment rules and new contributory pension scheme shall apply for these new appointments. ** The candidate who has applied for the posts of Computer Science Subject in response to our earlier advertisement No. 02/2007, need not to apply in prescribed proforma, only consent on plain paper along with any changes in previous information/qualification etc. is required. 1. The application form along with qualifications as per UGC norms and eligibility conditions can be obtained from University of Kota, Administrative Building, M.B.S. Road, Near Kabir, Kota on working days and during office hours i.e. 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. after paying Rs. 500/- in cash (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST) or may be downloaded from the University website i.e. www.uok.ac.in and in that case the candidate will have to enclose the D.D. of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Kota, while submitting the duly filled form. 2. The prescribed form duly filled up must reach the office of Registrar, University of Kota, Kota on or before 02.07.2011. Persons who are already employed, should send their applications through proper channel.

3. Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date will not be entertained. 4. Candidates called for interview will not be paid any travelling expenses. 5. Retired persons need not to apply. 6. Prevailing Govt./University service rules will be applicable for candidates appointed on the posts. 7. In case the applications are received in large number then screening will be done. 8. University will not be responsible for any delay including postal delay.

Minimum Qualifications
Professor: Subject-Commerce & Management Pay Scale - (A.G.P. Rs. 10000 in pay band 37400-67000) Rs. 43800/- Fixed Remuneration will be paid during Probation Period. A. (i) An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers. A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.

(ii)

(iii) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process. (iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in Appendix III of the UGC regulation 2010. OR B. An outstanding professional, with established reputation in the relevant field, who has made significant contributions to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, to be substantiated by credentials. Assistant Professor:

Subject-Commerce & Management

Pay Scale - (A.G.P. Rs. 6000 in pay band 15600-39100) Rs. 18200/- Fixed Remuneration will be paid during Probation Period. (i) Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E, & F at the Master's degree level, in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

(ii)

(iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) as mentioned above, candidates, who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. (iv) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted. Note:(i) (ii) Good Academic record means throughout second-class career from Secondary/High School to Bachelors degrees, but this shall not be applicable for SC/ST candidates. A relaxation of 5% shall be provided at the graduate and master's level for the Schedulded Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Differently-abled (Physically and visually differently-abled) categories for the purpose of eligibility and for assessing good academic record during direct rectruitment to teaching positions. The eligibility marks of 55% marks (or and equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based on only the qualifying marks without including any grace mark procedures.

(iii) A relaxation of 5% shall be provided, from 55% to 50% of the marks to the Ph.D. Degree holders, who have obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19 September, 1991. (iv) The Ph.D. Degree shall be a mandatory qualification for the appointment of Professors. (v) The Ph.D. Degree shall be mandatory qualification for all candidates to be appointed as Associate Professor.

(vi) The period of time taken by candidates to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. Degree shall not be considered as teaching/research experience to be claimed for appointment to the teaching positions.
