Hebrews - The Hebrews spoke the language Hebrew or Ebreu.

The hebrews were theocratic with means they believed that god should have the ultimate power so the people had no king but were ruled by the rules that there god had placed. The hebrews most important accomplishment was the starts of monotheism. Akkadians- the Akkadians spoke two main languages, the first was Sumerian witch was replaced by Akkadian in the 3Rd and 2Nd millennium, but Sumerian was still used for sacred rituals. There government was monarchal with the Ensi as the Priest or highest functionary and the Lugal as the king with his own palace. The Arkkadians also had great poets and were the first to discover bronze casting.

Phoenicians- The Phoenicians spoke Phoenecian witch is classified in the Northwest Semitic group . The Phoenicians wernt unified so they had multiple forms of government with include monarchy, and a republic. The Phoenicians were also good with metal glass and cloth and could sail and trade. Arabs- The Arabs mainly spoke Arabic as as first language. They had a theocratic government.The Arabs made major improvements in the world of mathematics, astronomy, medicine, architecture and geography.

Aramaeans- The Aramaeans were mostly defined by there use of western semitic Old Aramaic language. This was first written in the Phoenecian alphabet. There language was a lingua Franca witch helped the people around them trade with the people around them.

Judaism- The hebrews migrated from mesopotamia to Canaan (modern day Isreal ) Judaism has origins dating back nearly four thousand years, rooted in the ancient region of Canaan or Israel and was started by a covenant with Abraham and god , God said he would give Abraham and his followers freedom, land and make them sacred. They then moved to Egypt because of famine. But then they became Egyptian slaves so Moses helped them escape from egypt. Zoroastrianism- Zoroastrianism is one of the worlds oldest religions, Zarathushtra was the profit of this religion who lived in central Asia, One day he felt that there were to many Persian gods and he didnt like there teachings so he made all the Persian gods into one and made his own teachings, one of his first disciples was King Vishtaspa, who was the ruler of Bactria, so after that the religion spread far through three Persian Empires, witch covered what is now knows as Rome and Greece, east into India, north into Russia and south into Egypt, with followers in the millions.

Christianity- Christianity was a small part of Judaism, but after the death of Jesus his followers spread his teachings throughout out the Roman empire. They followed Roman trade routes, as they trade with people they actively tried to convert people during a time of peace that allowed many people to convert. Islam- Islam was stared by a trader named Muhammad,who lived in Mecca. He wanted an uncorrupt, original , Monotheistic religion so he combined the previous ones to make Islam, he incorporated parts of Judaism and Christianity into this religion. It defused after the death of Muhammad, and through Military conquest.

In the 10th century B.C.E the Middle East was separated into different territories instead of countries and they had many wars over territories. Religion played a large role in there daily life in ancient times as well. But there wasnt as many religious conflicts as now, due to the fact that many of the small religions didnt defuse yet. During recent times religion has played a larger role in life, mainly for causing many civil wars, due to the faster rate of diffusion of the religions. There are also more conflicts because of oil and territory. But during recent times the territories turned into countries with more sophisticated political and economic systems.
