Work Experience
January 2009 Present Services Engineer at Ericsson (Lahore, Pakistan) Software: C#/WPF/Silverlight/SQLServer Hardware: Ericsson OSS (Sybase Database) Working in the Network Performance and Optimization (RF) Department. Under the performance team developed softwares for the RF Optimizers. The main software was ENDX. It was installed in four countries on five projects (Pakistan for China Mobile / Warid GSM, Lebanon for Alfa project, Iraq for KorekTel project, Iran for MTN IranCell Project). Was awarded an Ericsson Achievement Award for this software. It was developed in C# / WPF / WCF with Linq2SQL SQL Server backend. A silverlight front end was also developed. Worked on various other small projects for Warid Telecom Project that got me exposure to Oracle / Java / Flex / PHP. Additionally wrote various scripts in Python and carried out large data processing in Access. October 2007 December 2008 Executive Engineer at UFONE (NSS Department) (Islamabad, Pakistan) Software: C#/Winforms/Python/C++ Hardware: Huawei+Nortel Equipment (HLR/MSC/STP) Worked in the NSS Department writing various tools to optimize the NSS Operations workflow. The most signification project was a C# Winforms application (called UltimateView) that allowed NSS team to carry out various routine tasks in hardware agnostic manner. Worked on python a lot for speedy software delivery. Was also responsible for maintaining the legacy C++ DLLs used for number provisioning. Resolved various issues that would come up and upgraded them according to the updates of the HLR software.

Academic Qualifications
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications), CGPA 3.54, from National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST). NUST has always ranked in the Top 3 Engineering Universities of Pakistan.
