The successful candidate will: Be responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications to be used by software developers.

Act as a product manager for designated software products, gathering business requirements, driving their evaluation and selection process and supervising their implementation. Focus here is on Basel II and COREP Regulatory Reporting, and more specifically Credit Risk and Market Risk. Assist these local teams, this includes understand and assist in implementation of the local specifics. The role is within a central organisation that produces reusable reporting, calculations and other components to local development teams throughout the world.

Do Functional analysis and creation of functional specifications of regulation changes and specific requirements for software developers while enforcing team standards. Drive business requirements evaluation, selection and prioritization process Follow-up on developments based on those specifications, acts as single functional point of contact for developers during development Perform and / or drive functional testing process, controls adequacy of developments with functional specifications Write and / or supervise products release notes content and controls adequacy with team standards Together with line management establish and follow-up releases planning Monitor second line support Provide highest level of functional expertise for designated products, internally and externally Evaluate customer needs and market opportunities.

Interface with users and beta testers to define applications requirements and/or necessary modifications. Advise on alternate methods of solving needs or problems, or recommends specific solutions. Participate in evaluation of enhancements. Analyse requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Contribute to projects in specific meetings/workshops related to the area he/she is responsible for. Therefore, some of the tasks will have to be performed at customer site. Provide regular status and progress towards management.

Experience with financial software, financial data warehousing and relational database conceptual knowledge Experience in delivering training and presentations to external parties Good knowledge and experience around BASEL-2 and/or COREP knowledge

Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Strong analytical skills Able to work very independently / self starter Full fluency in English, both written and spoken

Qualifications

Education
At least a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience and knowledge


5+ years of experience in banking accounting, within either a bank or an IT company delivering financial software Extensive experience in application development / business analysis for financial software Expert knowledge of banking, banking accounting and financial instruments
