The meaning of Philosophy comes from ancient Greece love of wisdom Truth (objective & subjective) is independent, eternal & immutable (pre Socratics, Socrates, post Socratics) Factual truth based on reality Actual truth immortal, always there, need to discover The first thinker think about God & nature Philosophers search fundamental of new ideas, they tend to take a broader view of everything than most other people, they look at things as if from farther away, to see how they all fit together Pre request to be a philosopher you can shake it but cannot break it
