the aim of this project was to develop a response to the previous question through the mixed use redevelopment of a builidng located in Milwaukee, Wisconsins Pabst Brewery complex. the project will serve to create a sustainable neighborhood that will positively influcence the environment, the people who live and/or work there and the financial success of the newly created economy in which it exists.

I also began to formulate a way through which I could begin to understand the place so that I could move through it without question as to if I was going in the right direction. as a way of locating myself and understand the relationship between different points in my surroundings, I began to map my trips within the walls of the old city.

a collaborative project with Matthew J Friesz in an area of run-down deconstruction, this project was designed with the intent to provide the Folsom Street and Main Street neighborhood with new opportunities for residential living through lowrent apartment facilities and the formation of public housing or public-shelter-type resources. additionally, a culinary school, a fresh foods market, restaurants and retail were incorporated in hopes of revitalizing public commerce in the area.
