CONCORD -- Ernest P. Willis was found guilty Friday on all counts of raping a then-15-year-old girl who went to his church and regularly baby-sat his children, WMUR-TV and the Concord Monitor are reporting. The 52-year-old Willis was convicted of three counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault or forcible rape and one count of felonious sexual assault, or statutory rape, according to the reports. Willis had pleaded guilty to one other count of felonious sexual assault, or statutory rape. He admitted he had sex with Tina Anderson, who was 15 at the time, but he claimed the sex was consensual. Anderson, now 29, said she was raped twice in 1997 by Willis and became pregnant.

enjoyed it is a valid argument... (Report Abuse) May 27, 2011 7:36 pm Joseph King said: Good job and congrats to all who had a hand in convicting this creep! May the victim/victims of this crime find some peace with this verdict. Now, is there a lawer out there that can help with a civil suit against the church/pastor and parishoners for someting? Anything? How about negligent and wanton disregard for life and safety of a minor female? How about complete and utter disregard for the teachings of Jesus Christ? How about for impersonating good, honorable upstanding citizens? There's got to be something these awful folks can be hit with. Hopefully Willis is now spending his first night in prison and other victims of crimes like this are finding the strength to speak out. (Report Abuse) May 28, 2011 12:19 am Elisa Miranda said: This trial was a waste of taxpayer's money. Our courts are laying people off and delaying justice in many cases where there is an actual question of guilt. Yet, here is a case where the guilty party actually admitted he comitted an illegal act and he still went to trial. What a waste of resources! Having sex with a 15 year old regardless of how many times it occurred IS illegal. Sadly Mr. King he probably isn't locked up yet, he still has an appeal process to exhaust. More waste of taxpayer funds. (Report Abuse) May 28, 2011 9:21 am Bill Catz said: Next go after the Preacher and anyone else who knew and did nothing. (Report Abuse) May 28, 2011 9:46 am Randal Ripley said: This is what you get for not questioning authority. When people join these cult like churches they check their brains at the door. They become timid sheep who do not dare speak against the authority figures of the church. The church becomes their lives and they know to speak out means to be shunned or kicked out of the church. Trinity Baptist put underage girls up in front of the congregation to humiliate them and to apoligize for getting pregnant and only made the Elder admit to being unfaithful to his wife and nobody said anything. How could a congregation of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ who preached mercy and forgiveness sit there, watch that and not speak out. All them that did should be ashamed of themselves for being so spine-less and/or brain-washed that they didn't speak up.

I have never seen any public or private church discipline at the church I attend but would speak up right there in church If I saw this type of thing. There is no point in humiliating young girls who get pregnant. But lets not forget Trinity Baptist and/or Fundamentalist churches aren't the only ones who are cult like and cover up sexual wrong doing by Elders, Clergy, etc. Look at the world wide scandal in the Catholic Church. Cardinal Law is hiding in the Vatican, John McCormick is still the Bishop of Manchester and where were the masses of Catholics calling for their heads? I truly hope that this woman can sue Trinity for big dollars, she deserves it. (Report Abuse) May 28, 2011 10:36 am Reggie Giguere said: Mr. Willis: Again, I shall paraphrase a comment I once heard said by a member of the clergy-in the Mid West-when he first arrived. I do so because I believe it is most fitting for this occasion. Asked to summarize his religious foundation if he could, he thought for a moment and then said: " I once knew a man who went to church every Sunday. But when he died, he went straight to hell for what he did on Monday." (Report Abuse) May 30, 2011 11:26 am
