MARKING GUIDELINES FOR SECTION C- NOVEL

1. Mark on a five-band impression scale with marks ranging from


1 10.

2. If there are factual errors, bracket the errors, and indicate (FE)
above them. Mark the student down.

3. Award marks according to how well the required task is fulfilled. 4. Any other topic which is unrelated to the task requirement, the
marks awarded cannot be more than 2.
