P1 Instructions

1. Two injections/Drops are taken 12 hours apart on both days. (7a and 7p) 2. Diet- eat frequently of highly concentrated foods such as milk chocolate, pastries with whipped cream sugar, fried meats
(particularly pork), eggs and bacon, mayonnaise, bread with thick butter and jam, fast food, milkshakes, pizza, etc. (this will seem contrary to dieting, but is a CRUCIAL part of the diet and will make you successful in losing weight.) P2 Instructions

1. Two injections/Drops are taken 12 hours apart for 23-40. (7a and 7p). 2. Weigh Daily-Each morning after voiding. Expect to lose 0.5-1.5#. If you GAIN weight, 9/10 you have consumed something
you should not have. Look for sugar in seasonings, food items NOT on the list, excessively salted foods, or any type of diet sodas/products with sugar substitute other than Stevia. Also, NO lotions/liquid make-up should be used. DRINK WATER!- A minimum of 2-3L/day. Tea and Coffee is allowed with the only flavoring being stevia and 1 tablespoon TOTAL of milk per DAY. One lemon per day may be used as well. Diet- 500 Calories (lunch and dinner are the same) a. 100 grams (3.5oz) of Meati. Veal, steak (that is not marbled with fat, and only on occasion as American beef is very fatty), chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp ii. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed RAW. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. (PAM OK) Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. b. One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following (DO NOT MIX IN A MEAL) i. Spinach (2 cups), chard, chicory, or beet-greens, green salad (2-3 Cups), tomatoes (1/2 tomato), celery (2 sticks), fennel, onions (1/2 onion), red radishes, cucumbers (1/2), asparagus (10-15 stalks), cabbage (1-2 cups). c. One breadstick (grissini) or one Melba toast. d. An apple, orange, 6 strawberries, or one-half grapefruit.

5. Seasonings- The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet
basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing. (Seasoning salt, mrs. Dash, and Montreal work well.) 6. All things not listed are forbidden- be assured that nothing permissible has been left out. The 100 grams of meat must he scrupulously weighed raw after all visible fat has been removed with a letter-scale, as kitchen scales are not sufficiently. Those not uncommon patients who feel that even so little food is too much for them, can omit anything they wish. (*be careful not to consume products like chewing gum, cough syrup, and other products that have fats or sugars. Check labels!) 7. There is no objection to breaking up the two meals. (having a breadstick and an apple for breakfast or an orange before going to bed, provided they are deducted from the regular meals) 8. The whole daily ration of two breadsticks or two fruits may not be eaten at the same time, nor can any item saved from the previous day be added on the following day. 9. The Plateau-Halfway through the diet a plateau is common where no weight is gained, but none is lost. For this you can do an apple day. 10. APPLE day- An apple-day begins at lunch and continues until just before lunch of the following day. You are allowed 6 large apples and can eat one whenever you feel the desire though six apples is the maximum allowed. During an apple-day no other food or liquids except plain water are allowed and of water you may only drink just enough to quench an uncomfortable thirst if eating an apple still leaves you thirsty. 11. No massage is allowed-with or without lotion

12. Ending P2- The day after your 23 injection day you will need to complete 3 more days of 500 cal diet without injections until it
has left your system. The first day after your last injection is your GOAL wt. This is the weight that you will monitor to make sure you do not Gain or Lose 2 pounds from. P3 Instructions

1. DIET- When the three days after the last injection are over you are free to eat anything you please except starches and sugar
during the first 3 weeks. Still try and avoid sugary or starchy fruits/veggies (potatoes, carrots, grapes, bananas). Slowly reintroduce them in p3, but dont be surprised if it causes a weight gain necessitating a steak day. Weigh DAILY- particularly while traveling. You must without fail weigh themselves every morning as you get out of bed, having first emptied your bladder. It takes about 3 weeks before the weight reached at the end of the treatment becomes stable. During this period you must realize that the so-called carbohydrates, that is sugar, rice, bread, potatoes, pastries, etc, are by far the most dangerous. If no carbohydrates whatsoever are eaten, fats can be indulged in somewhat more liberally and even small quantities of alcohol, such as a glass of wine with meals, does no harm, but as soon as fats and starch are combined things are very liable to get out of hand. This has to be observed very carefully during the first 3 weeks after the treatment is ended otherwise disappointments are almost sure to occur. Skipping a Meal- As long as their weight stays within two pounds of the weight reached on the day of the last injection, you should take no notice of any increase but the moment the scale goes beyond two pounds, even if this is only a few ounces, you must on that same day entirely skip breakfast and lunch but take plenty to drink. In the evening they must eat a huge steak with only an apple or a raw tomato. Do this and you will miraculously loose the weight and be back within range. Wait a day and this phenomenon will no longer be successful.

P4 Instructions

1. Continue to weigh daily. If you go 2 pounds above your last weigh in amount you must skip a meal and do a steak day. 2. Diet-Slowly introduce carbohydrates. Start with carb rich veggies such as potatoes and carrots. Then add whole grains and
brown rice. You can eat whatever you like, fats (butter, cream, cheese) do not affect your weight. Protein and veggies do not affect your weight. Keep in mind that carbs (sugar, bread, rice) when mixed with high fats are what tend to cause the gain. So, have a piece of cake. Have 2+ and plan on a steak day. ;-)

**Menstruation In menstruating women, the best time to start treatment is after a period. Treatment may also be started later, but it is advisable to have at least ten days in hand before the onset of the next period. Similarly, the end of a course of HCG should never be made to coincide with menstruation. If things should happen to work out that way, it is better to give the last injection three days before the expected date of the menses so that a normal diet can he resumed at onset. Alternatively, at least three injections should be given after the period, followed by the usual three days of dieting. This rule need not be observed in such patients who have reached their normal weight before the end of treatment and are already on a higher caloric diet. During menstruation no injections are given, but the diet is continued and causes no hardship; yet as soon as the menstruation is over, the patients become extremely hungry unless the injections are resumed at once
